Dunkin' — Restaurant in New York

I was in this exact Dunkin donut a minute ago and it was a horrible experience for me and my father. It was a small Dunkin donut that was pretty dirty and when I went to order, the cashier there was very rude and she was practically almost yelling at me. When I asked how much something was, she told me “can you not read it”? Which was very rude already so I just ordered it without knowing the price. After that, I ordered some donuts (half dozen) and I said 6 donuts but she was like “how many”? Which tells me that she doesn’t pay attention to her work. And right after I said 6 donuts again, she said “I don’t have time to deal with this.” Throughout the whole order she was very rude and the customer service was very bad. It’s the start of the day, I just wanted a breakfast. I also ordered some drinks and when I went to get it, the other worker rolled her eyes on me when I showed her the receipt to take my drinks. Which just tells me that this whole place is a negative environment and that they just have very bad workers. I may hope that they change their attitude or just straight up change the workers as in get new ones, but for now I never want to go back to experience that ever again. I am the one ordering and paying to don’t be so rude. If your mad take some time off then come back. Don’t go yelling at customers that you’re supposed to serve. I was very calm and nice as well while ordering. Someone had to knock some sense into them (Preferably the owner). When I first got there to order she said “what do you want” as if she’s annoyed or something. Like if your going to be like this then your going to get no customers and who even acts like this. I’ve seen a homeless man act better than these staffs and workers. Also, when I got my iced tea, they didn’t even give me a straw. I came here at the end of my evening work shift, when it was 9 degrees outside and the wind chill was ridiculous. I remember my hands hurting so much from numbness from walking outside, and searching for the nearest open, warm place. That place was this Dunkin’ Donuts.

I was the only customer whenever I came in, but my hands were hurting so much that I decided to just sit down at one of the tables and try to warm off. I think I was there for 15 minutes (in silent agony; it felt like I had gotten frostbite). No one rushed at me to get out or question why I didn’t buy anything which I was grateful for, enough to go up to the counter to get a small hot chocolate to pay my thanks.

The gentleman there greeted me warmly, acknowledged how ridiculously cold it was outside, and proceeded to make my hot chocolate. His hospitality alone deserves a 5-star rating. I went back to my table and sipped my hot chocolate in the quiet, warming my hands some more before bundling up to brave the cold once more.

I never write reviews but this one I just had to I would give it no stars if I could their is no parking for this place and wanted a coffee while I had to unload some fright next door, service was good but while I was outside ready to move the owner comes out yelling that I should not be parked infront for more than 15 min because he's loosing buisness he decided to stick stickers on my truck saying no parking, scratching the paint off my truck, told me it was a Chinese community and the place I was delivering was an American that needed to move his buisness because he was costing him business, after I moved from infront of dunkin donuts he still followed me and video recorded me with out my consent, told me he was going to sue me and kept yelling at me to get out of the street which I was not blocking his parking anymore I was advised I was not the first person this guy has done that to, I don't belive a dunkin donuts owner should harasse people that way I kept calm and never ofended him or caused harm but I would not like someone else to go thru what I went...
