Came with some friends for a Sunday dinner hot pot feast. Upon approaching the restaurant we were immediately impressed with the exterior design. Once we entered we found the interior just as impressive as well: bonus points for the koi fish pond where they let you pet the koi!
We ordered the lotus fries, shrimp balls, and sesame cake as a snack. For our hot pot we split the pickled vegetable and spicy broth, lamb, beef, and pork belly for meats, and mixed mushrooms, corn, tofu skin, and tribute vegetable. Overall we thought everything was delicious. The snacks were even better than the hot pot with the shrimp balls and lotus fries sticking out the most. I also loved the mushroom sauce they had available at the sauce bar.
Some other things that differentiate this place from other hot pot places in the area (besides the awesome exterior/interior design) is that they give you an apron to wear while you eat. This is important as hot pot is messy and my friends tend to spill their food all over me. At the end of your meal they offer you this free jelly dessert that has fruits in it. It was a very nice palate cleanser.
So after reading all of that you may be asking yourself why I only put 4 stars? Well there were a couple of things during our visit that were disappointing. The first being that a majority of the sauces at the sauce bar were empty. The restaurant was not crowded when we were there and it was early into the dinner hour, so really no excuse for this. The second issue was that a nasty looking bug fell from the ceiling onto my friend’s bald head. He screamed like a little girl which was funny to us but he was not happy. The third issue was that the hot pot broth took FOREVER to come out. We had all of the toppings and snacks at our table before the broth came. The order of service didn’t make sense because we aren’t going to eat raw meat.
Overall I believe there are better hot pot places with similar offerings for the same price in the area but this is a pretty solid option and I would recommend checking it out.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Beijing Hot Pot is the place to be! From the moment we stepped inside, the warm ambiance and inviting aromas set the stage for a fantastic evening. The vibrant decor and lively atmosphere made us feel right at home.
The highlight of our visit, however, was the incredible service provided by our waitress, Xiao Ann. She greeted us with a bright smile and guided us through the extensive menu with genuine enthusiasm. Her knowledge of the dishes was impressive, and she made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. Xiao Ann's attention to detail was outstanding; she ensured our hot pot was perfectly seasoned and that we had all the necessary dipping sauces and ingredients.
The selection of fresh ingredients was remarkable, from thinly sliced meats to an array of vegetables and noodles. Each item was of the highest quality, which made the cooking experience all the more enjoyable. Xiao Ann checked in frequently, ensuring we had everything we needed and offering tips on the best cooking times for each ingredient.
Overall, Beijing Hot Pot exceeded our expectations not only with its delicious offerings but also with the exceptional service from Xiao Ann. If you're in the mood for a fun and interactive dining experience, make sure to request her when you visit. You won't be...
Read moreI didn’t find the flavor particularly special. It felt similar to most hot pot places, just with different cookware. What really stood out, though, was the server — and not in a good way. She was physically present, but it honestly felt like her soul had left the building. She moved around like she was on autopilot, clearly just waiting for her shift to be over. To make things worse, the guest at the table behind me kept shaking his leg nonstop, which made my chair wobble the entire time. Maybe he wasn’t being very considerate, but I also think the way the tables and chairs are arranged is part of the problem. If you can feel every little movement from the people around you, it takes away from the dining experience. My boyfriend was clearly still interested in eating, but unfortunately, I ended the experience early and we left. I just couldn’t enjoy the meal under those conditions. If you really like the style of Beijing hot pot, it might still be worth a try. After all, it is a very traditional branch of hot pot, and seeing a large plate of meat brought to the table is an...
