I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit. I arrived early in the morning, when the store was nearly empty, and placed an order for an egg and cheese croissant with a drink, as well as a $6 meal deal.
Despite the light crowd at the time, I only received part of my order initially. As I waited, I noticed that other customers who ordered after me were being served and leaving, while I was still waiting for my meal. Another customer behind me also expressed frustration at the delay, as both of us had been waiting the longest.
When I finally received the $6 meal deal, a manager named Erin approached me abruptly and demanded I return the bag, claiming I had not paid for it. Her tone suggested that I was at fault for an employee’s mistake. I explained that I paid for it and her employee must’ve made a mistake i would’ve been more happy to pay if there had been an error, but instead of resolving the situation professionally, she chose to argue with me and play a blaming game towards a customer.
What was most concerning was her dismissive attitude I went back outside and rekindled my thoughts and then went back in but when I asked for her name. She smirked and told me to “go ahead and complain,” implying that customer concerns would have no effect and that accountability was not required. This type of behavior is unacceptable for someone in a management role and reflects very poorly on the store’s leadership and commitment to customer service.
I have always believed that mistakes can happen, but how they are handled matters most. In this case, I felt disrespected, blamed, and treated as though my business did not matter. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that future customers do not have to go through the same experience. It was rude and horrible this Dunkin is right by my college and i’ve been going here for years after this altercation i’m just about done with this location im very disappointed.
Sincerely,...
