Eastside Deli — Restaurant in New York

Really good deli and surprisingly reasonably priced for something in NYC. Average sandwich costs $9.45 and then you can add chips and a drink. Now the drinks some of their canned drinks are almost the same as a sandwich, so maybe buy a drink elsewhere, but… their selection is massive for their subs, wraps and panini and the flavors are on point. The meatball was probably 1 foot long and had so much meat, the tuna was melted and awesome. I recommend to them maybe don’t try and toast a refrigerated sandwich as the bread will toast before the sandwich is warm, but besides the tuna melt still being slightly cold after toasting it was very flavorful and good. The staff was awesome and this place has a unique NYC delicatessen feel....

Ridiculous prices, and everyone I have heard go in there- myself included -has been astonished at how rude the staff is and how in efficient the ordering system is. Why are they making the customer tell the cashier what the order is so they can get it wrong and then be rude about it? 3 separate people have said the same thing to me. Every other restaurant in the city has some system for getting the orders to the register I'm confused as to what's preventing them from getting...

Overpriced and rude. Imagine a new york chopped cheese for 16 dollars. When you debate them about it they become rude. Stop overcharging customers for your bad financing and then being nasty about it. I can’t wait for them to foreclose and be replaced by an affordable gym as this neighborhood desperately needs one.
