LaRustica Pizza — Restaurant in New York

Okay I have never been in person to be fair. Tonight I placed my second order via Uber eats at I wanna give credit where it’s due!!

I only even ordered cause I had a couple bottle of red wine and my favorite thing ever is to dip my crusts in a montepulciano or other delightful Italian. It’s about the crust!!! These people do it right. Not only is the crust perfect, the rest of the slice is divine! The pizza with pesto (I forget the name) is just like rubirosa tye dye pizza, my all time fave (which I cannot get uptown at this hour, lol).

I also got the zucchini sticks and may I just say….mozz sticks are barbaric when you could be eating a vegetable….and they give you sooo much! I only wish I had more marinara hah.

I have no affiliation with this restaurant and therefore no prerogative to give an unwarranted rave. But as a proud (and picky) Italian, La Rustica has consistently delivered excellent quality and delicious food up to my standards 😋 thanks...

DON’T GO HERE I ordered from here a few times. It was very okay pizza until this last order. I ordered from here last night. Got a pizza (which I’ve ordered several times) and an Italian sub. The meat quality in the sub was disgusting - it tasted like cheap bologna. Not to mention the bread was completely soggy the moment it arrived. It was almost as if the sandwich had been sitting pre-made for hours. Secondly, and arguably most importantly, the pizza (what they’re known for) was made incorrectly (wrong ingredients according to their own menu) and SOGGY. When I picked up a slice, all of the toppings came sliding off the soggy crust.

I called to get a refund or maybe a new remade order and LaRustica refused to make it right. So I was left with a check of $40 and food that we threw away because...

This place is a joke. I live a few blocks away and ordered a slice of pizza. They have no order minimum according to seamless. An hour goes by and I still don’t have my order. The rude employee scoffed at me that they don’t deliver single slices and that they have an order minimum. Well according to seamless and the order I placed you don’t. He hung up on me as well. Here’s a word of advice you aren’t the only pizza place in nyc so you should probably improve your customer service because without your customers you wouldn’t have a job. Don’t be rude to customers because your order minimums are incorrect on seamless. That’s your guys fault, not mine. UNACCEPTABLE ! I suggest you avoid this place at...
