DON’T DO IT... still upset (7) years later...

It took me one year to write this review & (7) yrs to post properly. I thought it important to still share my experience. June 30, 2017, my son turned 16. It didn't take us long to decide, as the rooms were all beautiful & the Manager, Michael sold the packages very well!! We decided on the private room downstairs with the LED lights, private bathrooms, private suite for guest of honor and private waiting area. The area was under construction, but Michael's vision of the outcome had impressed us. We were SOLD!! As we're an African American/ Puerto Rican Family, we chose OUR traditional meal. Pernil (pork), Mac & Cheese, Corn Bread, Plantains, etc. The day of the party, we noticed the LED lights weren't working, the bathrooms were dirty & had a FOUL smell, the private suite also had a musky Oder & had stored items in it, and the private waiting area was not upgraded as Michael had promised. We reviewed things with Michael & he quickly gave explanations & tended to the issues. He had the bathrooms cleaned, but Oder was still present (the airwick was not enough nor pretty), the items in the suite we had to remove ourselves at the last hour because staff NEVER did, the LED lights (the MAIN reason my son chose the location) DIDN'T get fix. Instead we were given floor lights, which got in the way of dancing & didn't have the same affect. In compensation for the lack of upgrade, we were given more time at the venue. Hind sight is 20/20.... We should've asked for a discount. The food was NOT good. The Pernil was steak NOT pork (like we wouldn't know the difference) the Mac & Cheese was STRAIGHT out of the box, Corn bread was dry & Plataños were hard. The bartender continued to leave the bar, so my guest found themselves serving themselves (I even have a pic of my guest serving). I was given extra food to take home. The 20+ teenagers that had spent the weekend with us were NOT interested in finishing any of it...& teenagers eat everything. The following week we spoke to Michael about our disappointment & too no surprise NOTHING was addressed, compensated nor offered (not even an apology). My son's LED Name light that we came to pick up was tampered with. As our guest my not have noticed nor complained about certain things & a good time was still had.... As the host we Were...

Richard and Michael are extraordinary gentlemen! I threw a Masquerade Ball for what should have been my 65th birthday party last year. The pandemic shut it down, of course, so it was on my birthday this year and was themed my 65+1 Masquerade Ball!😊. The food was delectable! The atmosphere was perfect. The lighting in the room glowed. The linen colors, black tablecloths, white napkins gold chairs with white bows, matched my centerpieces of silver tea light candles in a circle on blinged silver chargers with one large candle holder in the middle with a black masquerade mask poking out of it. Crediting my daughter and her Dad on the centerpieces and Richard and Michael for the color of the linens from the start. All I had to do was tell them my theme and they came up with suggestions! There was just so much in the very reasonable price, including the hot hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour with an open bar, red carpet/fireworks, 10 items on my buffet table from a choice of 4 different menus, plus freshly baked breads, coffee and tea. Five hours of food, drinks and fun. No one left hungry, thirsty or dissatisfied and the servers and bartender were attentive and thoughtful. They lived up to their reputation and I would use them again and again. Thanks again guys for working so well with me. Here's to you and your wonderful establishment. Keep up the good...

I am writing to give a huge shout-out to your incredible team for the outstanding service provided on April 13th at my aunts’ party, Theresia Irish. The event was an absolute triumph, and your services made it a truly unforgettable celebration.

I personally handled the decorations and your team’s kindness in assisting me bring everything inside made a huge difference and was a gracious relief, making setup easier.

What truly set the bar was the amazing team. The entire crew was phenomenal—professional, courteous, and excellent down to the last detail. I must give special praise to Mr. Boucher, who went above and beyond with his hands-on approach and genuine care for our guests. His positive energy and dedication ensured everything ran seamlessly, leaving a lasting impression on everyone.

Having read favorable reviews about Eastwood Manor, I can now personally confirm your reputation for excellence. Your team’s ability to deliver such a flawless event is a testament to your expertise and commitment to world-class service.

Thank you for making the party for Theresia Irish such a remarkable success and pleasant experience. Everyone was amazing, and I wholeheartedly recommend your services to anyone seeking top-tier catering and event management...

I had my wedding reception here in the Grand Ballroom recently and worked with Rich to plan. Rich worked with me and kept me updated on all I needed to know concerning covid restrictions. He was also very easy to work with and coordinate with in relation to my vendors (decor, dj, 360 video booth etc.). And as far as weddings are concerned, Eastwood Manor is quite affordable! On my wedding day everything was amazing! Rich and his staff were very attentive, the food was fantastic, and all my guests left happy and satisfied. I did not hear one complaint about the day; I have only received praises upon praises for a beautiful wedding reception. For that, I’m extremely grateful! Moving forward, I would not hesitate to have any of my future events at Eastwood Manor. In fact, they will always be my first consideration!
