Essa’s Famous Halal Food — Restaurant in New York

Oh man, where do I start ‘ESSAS FAMOUS HALAL’ . Honestly the man himself Essa ,he is such a kind ,generous more importantly a humble person . Every interaction I have with him feels so positive and heartwarming . Essa himself is a really good guy . I remember one time I was running home late but on the way I stopped to get ESSA’s food but after I ordered I checked my wallet and found out I didn’t have enough , so what did Essa do he said it’s fine buddy here you go and gave me the food and said next time help someone in need and repay them instead . And talking about the food , it’s really so mouthwatering and will fill ur taste buds and yea all The foods are really good I would recommend trying everything cuz ESSA’s made food are delicious. Everytime I meet him and have an interaction he reminds how much of a good person I can be . I would’ve had a picture or video, but it was honestly finished too quick. I’m an avid halal eater and I’ve had platters from all over the city, especially in Queens. I can confidently say this is the absolute best halal cart that I’ve tried in Queens and has been added to my all-time Mt Rushmore. The owner is extremely nice and helpful taking into consideration it was my first time there and recommending me what was best. The spicy rice and meat was aromatic and flavorful plus the amazing sauces on top to complete. I will 100% be back and be telling my local friends in Queens about this, absolutely amazing...

The food here is great and Essa is a great guy to talk too when you order, but the recent price hike is a little bit too much for me. The chicken over rice went from 5 to 8 to now 9, at first I didn’t mind. There has to come a point were the price has to stop. The food itself is really good and all and the service is great, I can’t even complain about the chicken since Essa always gives more chicken then rice. But at this rate I don’t think I’ll be able to visit Essa’s that often. I still recommend you give it a try here and there, but overall the price point is the only bad thing...
