I've been coming to this location over a spand of 4 years and a half. It happens to be located nearby my work area so I stop in every now and then for grub here. Early last year it was closed for a little while for renovations and it looks very much improved. Its pretty small with a limited seating area in the back, surrounding counter tops with stools, and a display of a variety of their Pizza Pies upon entry. The staff seems friendly and straight to the point, I personally never encountered an issue with any of them. Restroom is clean, but you may find the noise in this place very much distracting as there usually tends to be general music playing around the place, employees playing their kind of music behind the counter and kitchen loud enough that you can hear it from the rear seating area, plus a TV within the rear seating area. All these things clash making it all sound annoying to the person looking to read or cover some work on a laptop or something. The food is OK, they not only sell Pizzas but a variety of other items too. The Pizzas sit in display and they pick it and toss it right in their oven once you've decided, this is common in small shops like these so don't expect your slice to be fresh baked while you wait. The prices are fair, they accept Credit cards, and do deliveries. Thanks

Came here today with my chorus group visiting from Virginia and absolutely disgusted with the service and the food provided. If i could give the service zero stars i would, cook was so rude to my chaperones as well as my classmates. They didn’t even fully melt cheese on the cheesesteaks. The cook started to yell at us when we didn’t answer quick enough if the food was ā€œto-go or for hereā€. They started just throwing out to go food in bags with a paper plate. Cook just had an overall disgusting attitude and we were nothing but nice. They were forgetting orders, getting an attitude when we were correcting them, raising their voices. My pizza wasn’t bad, but the service was absolutely unacceptable and my classmates dishes were forgotten, carelessly thrown into bags, aluminum foil was cut and lodged into pepperoni rolls, and the list goes on. very disappointed.

Not exactly the original ray's, but with is infamous name, they sling decent pies like most other pizza shops in the city. I've stopped in here several times for a slice. It's pretty close to quintessential nyc pizza. I appreciate that they go beyond just plain and pepperoni. Garlic knots are pretty good too. Nice enough guys behind the counter and any slice is good as long as you ensure it hasn't sat there for too long. I've had a miss or two. The oven reheat can only do so much.

So lately I’ve been coming here cause I believe in giving an establishment a second chance. I came 2 weeks ago and I wasn’t too content with the sicilian slice I was given, wasn’t even properly done as it seemed as if the gentleman put it in the oven and then didn’t even wait 5 minutes for it to properly heat up. Unfortunately I don’t check at the store if my order is done properly as you put your confidence in these people thinking your order is warm and ready. I stopped by this afternoon which I ordered a sicilian slice and of course once again it’s not properly done. I really enjoy coming here but lately something’s been off with them and I’m gonna need them to step it up cause this is the second time I’ve came and my food isn’t...
