If I can give this place 0 stars I would. First off I want to give a big shout out to one of the male workers there. when I see you again I will definitely bless you. I came in order $30 worth of food w/my children. Took a bus all the way from williamsburg. Upon receivng my jerk rasta pasta i notice the noddles looked really dry no sauce on it because they poured all the sauce to the bottom of my plate. Another customer noticed how disappointed i was he then stated this is the worst rasta pasta and worse Footprints ever loudly and that they needed to hear the truth (boy was i about to find out why). Even though in my heart I agreed with this man. I spoke up bodly and said I won't talk badly about the food. All I want is more sauce since noodle were extra dry and to eat and not cause confrontation. So I brought the plate back to my kids. After a couple of bites i accidently dropped the plate full of food because there was a gap at the back of the table. I politely asked the lady for somethings so that I can clean up the mess, also asked if my children could have another plate. The lady was helpful in cleaning up the mess despite me offering to do it. But refused to give me and my children another plate said i would have to pay for another one. Granted I was the one who accidently dropped the food, common decency would be to give another. Not only that the guy was right the taste of the food wasn't even up to par & presententation of dry noodles was unacceptable. Although I felt angered i decoded to take the high road and leave. you know what one of the kind gentle men who worked there did. He ran our and gave me his last $6. because he saw the whole thing went down from purchasing the food to the other customer going off and me accidently dropping the food (how i handled each situation). I want to say God bless you to that employee. although it may not cover the food cost and what I lost. I still applaud you for standing up and doing what's right. It was the thought that counted and i will never forget you. For the unkind lady shame on you could have offered to give a smaller plate then the one that dropped but to deny kids food is low. It's a damn shame with an attitude like that you wouldn't stay in business much longer. On top of that the food wasn't good like the other customer stated out of all the footprints franchise, this has to be the worst tasting one. I will never...
Read moreMe and my coworker were very hungry when we decided to give this restaurant at this particular location a try. We were completely disappointed with the overall treatment we received from this restaurant employees. After we order paid and then took off our coats to eat. A number which we soon found out that they were actually calling out our ticket order number. After waiting for about 1/2 hour or more for the food to be ready we proceeded to get our food from the counter just to be completely shocked that it was packed up to go. My colleague then asked the staff member why the food was packed to go when we were already sitting down with our coats off, anticipating to eat in. We were told in a very rude manner by the staff person that we did not say we want to eat in. We were never asked if we were eating in or out. That same staff person went along to say that the food can be taken out of the bag for us to eat in. When I then ask for our drinks which was not put with our order, the staff member proceeded to ask another staff member to give us our drinks when it was clear that she could have given us the drinks. It was obvious that this staff person didn’t like the fact that me and my colleague was expressing displeasure with the service that we received. This staff was very rude and disrespectful. The other staff members just stood by and stared at us as we gathered our things to leave. This was not how we wanted our long day from work to end. This was so sad and disappointing. We had to leave a restaurant we had planned on staying all because of bad service and disrespect. I would not go back to this restaurant or recommend anyone to go there because of the service we had on 3/12/24. I went to the other Footprints restaurant where I experienced way better service than this particular restaurant. The food that we both ordered was not bad but the breadfruit side order was dry and...
Read moreMe and a friend came here to grab take out. It was about 10 mins. The staff was pleasant towards me but there was a dispute with another customer right after me and cashier. They complained about being disrespected and that's why they don't support black owned businesses and so forth. The food....hmmm. I seriously over paid for what I felt I could've made at home. I had rasta pasta with jerk chicken and an appetizer it was mac and cheese with bacon eggrolls. The pasta wasn't impressive at all. It was literally ziti pasta with a semi spicy alfredo sauce and it was not a lot of it on the pasta. It was pretty dry. I have yet to have moist jerk chicken in Brooklyn. I'm starting to think is that the way its prepared? The jerk chicken was dry and brittle and on top of that I had the most moist pieces from a chicken the thigh and drumsticks. The eggrolls were a terrible idea, but I thought I'd give them a try. No. The mac and cheese was dry, no flavor in it really and it came with a sweet and sour dipping sauce??? It didn't go well at all with the eggrolls. I spent close to $50 for me and my friends meal, wasn't worth that price at all. Too much pasta to meat ratio. I wanted to like this spot but it failed to impress. Will I go back? No. But if youre feeling adventurous give it a go. There are way too many things on thier menu that don't go together. They need to make it smaller and revamp it. I see this place maybe lasting no longer...
