Went here with a friend to get a drink in a chill place before going to another bar down the street. The drink was fine, I guess. However, we went to use the restroom and while we were in there, the bartender felt the need to constantly pound on the door and yell at us, saying that only one person can be in the bathroom. We’re women and my friend needed a tampon, so we went in together, I don’t get what the big deal was. They continued to pound on the door while we were using the restroom, then when we came out, we were berated by the bartender. Maybe she had nothing better to do because despite being 10 pm on a Friday, there was no one in the entire bar. She kept yelling at us despite my friend explaining why we were in there (and as a woman, you’d think she would understand?). She proceeded to “kick us out” which wasn’t really threatening since we were leaving anyway. And it later became apparent that many friends in our group had the same experience with the bartenders’ services. It got to a point where it was impacting...

Had a nice IPA and a delicious cocktail from the menu with mezcal, lime and orgeat. Also had a wonderful conversation with the head bartender. The place looked and felt like home, something that is increasingly less common around the neighborhood.
Great prices, great drinks, and great vibes. Beyond excited to...
