I would give zero. I love to eat sashmi more than sushi but if you come here for All-You-Can-Eat, forget about it! I bought a Groupon to give it a try but it wasn't worth it. Ordering off the menu and paying for it would have been the better option. But then again there are many other Japanese restaurants are much better than here. I've asked for regular wasabi and they told me they only had what looks like mixed with grinned turnips with wasabi when I could clearly see there were regular wasabi on the plates of those who ordered from regular menu. Also, a waitperson told be before I order through tablet, "if you eat more than what's allowed, you will be charge extra... you can only order one item from this (5 crab legs)... I've ordered 5 crab legs but only received two (2)! It you want to go all you can eat Japanese restaurant, there are plenty options. Just Google it. It's buffet style and they have much better choices and don't have limits on how much you can eat. Not that I was going to eat a lot, I wanted to give it a try since it had good review on Groupon. YMMV but for me who frequent a Japanese restaurant once week, it wasn't for me. I only write a review when the establishment is excellent or it was mostly good and I would visit again or terrible that I wouldn't go back even they pay me.

We had a very nice dinner here. The sushi was good, if not spectacular, but the variety and quantity of the food overall made the meal special. Sushi was plated simply, as expected for such quick service. The sushi selection was solid, if not amazing. We would absolutely eat here again. With cannabis now legal in NYC, I would strongly recommend this restaurant for those who partake and can handle themselves in public while under the influence. All-you-can-eat sushi, ordered at your whim while high, was a fun way to enjoy a night out. We ate until we were stuffed and had a blast doing it. The edamame was boring, even for edamame - which I generally enjoy. I would not recommend that you order it. The salmon collar and salmon skin were both quite nice. The mackerel nigiri were the highlight of my evening, and I ordered that a few times. The two-hour limit was plenty of time to eat our fill, even though I have the challenging combination of a big appetite and a slow ability to eat. The place was packed to the gills on a weekend night, so much so that we did not want to wait and were not sure we would actually get seated in time. On a weeknight, it was much more manageable.

First and foremost this was my favorite All you can eat sushi place in the city. I've been to a lot around the country and this one stood out to me the most because of the wide variety of foods you can order. It's sad to say that today was my 6th and LAST TIME coming to this restaurant.

While my friend and I were waiting for our third party member to return from the bathroom, so that we could complete the bill, one of the servers barged to our table and counted the money in a ruthless manner. She then slammed the checkbook and demanded for a tip as if there was nothing in there. We put $8 and we were waiting for our friend to return from the bathroom so that she could put more. This was beyond ridiculous and BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE NEVER IN MY 22 years of living been to a restaurant and experienced this. When we go to restaurants we usually base tips off of service. Therefore, I didn't think they were too deserving of a grand tip because our sushi was brought to the table in like 30 minute intervals. For instance, we ordered one roll at 6:12pm and we got it at 6:45pm.

After a minute, we got up and were going to wait for our friend near the front door because she was still in the bathroom, and it was too hot inside the restaurant. As I walked to wait near the front door for our friend one of the servers dared to touch me on the shoulder and pulled me back demanding that we give more tip. I tried to reason to tell her we were waiting for our friend who was going to give more tip. I also mentioned how we didn't have anymore cash because they changed their payment policy to CASH ONLY tonight (every other time I paid debit). She then said it was okay for us to PAY TIP WITH CARD, After telling my friends and I we couldn't pay with card when we got there and we all had to withdraw money from their ATM machine ( were each charged a $2.50 FEE) their payment policy MAGICALLY changed and it was okay for them to receive payment WITH A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD. At this point we were beyond irritated because we were still waiting for our friend to return from the bathroom. She told us how they didn't have enough money to pay their servers etc. I felt like I was being kept hostage at this establishment. After a few minutes our friend returned from the bathroom and was completely unaware of the situation. She was baffled and since she's nice and felt bad we gave more tip despite the way we were treated.

I think it would be a good idea if they made you self aware that they'll keep you hostage if you don't have a $50 tip in the checkbook!

Plus it also states in the store that gratuity of 18% is charge for a party of 5 or more and we were just 3! THEY ARE LIARS!

I really loved this place and enjoyed coming here. The sushi is a decent quality and they have many options. I recommended this place to a plethora of people and brought my two friends here for the first time so that they can try it. I've never been more embarrassed, bringing them to a place that's MONEY HUNGRY, FULL OF SCAMMERS, BARBARIC, AND...

One of the WORST experiences of my life. I have never been treated the way I was treated here anywhere else. This was my first time coming here and I will admit that I did enjoy the food. The sushi's quality was okay for the price I guess, but what really turned me off was the disgustingly rude waitresses. I have never seen such rude, money hungry, impolite animals in my life. I would expect something like this in a run down area (which has never even happened) but never in east village.

Everything was fine at first until around our last hour when they took 30 minutes to bring out a single sushi roll, I'm guessing they were trying to waste our 2 hour limit so they'd bring out less food. Then came time for the check. One waitress in particular (chubby with a 2 inch ponytail) rushed to our table to collect the check, counted the money IN FRONT OF US and was upset with the amount we tipped and slammed the checkbook onto our table and said "where is TIP! We need tip!" As if there wasn't a tip in there. Shocked and speechless we said sorry as we waited for our other friend to come back from the bathroom saying she'd add more to the tip when out. As she was taking a long time we had decided to wait upfront and while walking one of them physically GRABBED and PULLED my friend back saying "where is our tip we need more tip!" We were in complete and utter shock! Why were we being treated like we had given them an insufficient amount? All the money was there and MORE.

We mentioned that we didn't have anymore cash for tip so we're waiting for our friend to come out of the bathroom but she did not care or seem to understand. She continued to tell us about how this isn't enough tip to pay the chefs and waitresses. Excuse me? Why should I care? You would have received a better tip had you not wasted our time bringing out our rolls every 30 mins. and not to mention that we were forced to use their ATM because it was apparently "cash only" but now that they wanted a bigger tip we could suddenly use a debit card to pay them. Just ridiculous. The rude waitress with the 2inch pony tail continued to bark and wobble her head around in anger. Once our friend came out of the bathroom we explained and she gave them another 6 dollars cash she had but it seemed that they still weren't happy. At this point we didn't care and walked out.

I will NEVER in my life return to this place. The food is good but not THAT good that I'd return and deal with entitled stuck up waitresses who think they deserve the world. Next time I'd suggest including that a tip of 400 dollars per person is mandatory because if not you'll get your face chewed off by a psychotic chubby girl with...

First time here, let’s start off with coming in, we were greeted immediately and seated wherever we wanted, loved that. I didn’t realize that there was an all you can eat option. Our server was nice and brought over an iPad showing me the menu on the all you can eat and how some things have limits. Like the sashimi had a limit of 15 pieces, chefs special and dessert were limit of 1 each alongside other things that I can’t remember.

My boyfriend and I both went with the all you can eat with drinks which was $50, without drink is $40 which is what I think we should have done since we only had 1 soda each. Our first round we ordered 3 different hand rolls, spring rolls, ugani bowl and ikimaru I believe it was called. We were not a fan of the salmon hand roll or the bowl. Salmon roll had too much of the salmon and it gave a it too much of a weird texture and taste. Didn’t taste fresh either and the bowl tasted way too fishy. Plus the seaweed that was used to wrap the rolls were so chewy. We finished everything but the salmon roll and the bowl because we didn’t like it. When a different server came to collect the plates she told us “we had to finish the food otherwise we will have to get charged for it from the regular menu”. Like what?!!

I don’t think that’s right, if I don’t like it I’m not going to finish it. They claim it was to not waste food which I understand, but whether we bought it from regular menu or not we would have not finished it. We proceeded to order sushi rolls like avocado Q roll, spicy dragon roll and it honestly was not that great.

Aside from that, service was quick and I give this place a 2.5 star because of the speed, greeting at the door, ambiance and our kind main server (different from the one who told us about the food), I however will not be coming back. Oh! 18% gratuity is automatically included, it’s up to you if you choose to leave a...
