East Village Pizza — Restaurant in New York

It may look like your average neighborhood pizza joint, but East Village Pizza is anything but! It’s slightly smaller than most but the quality surpasses their competitors. Frank and his staff makes almost everything from scratch from the dough all the way to their homemade sauce. He’s known for his Instagram worthy pies, fresh garlic knots, rolls, and his mozzarella sticks. My favorite pies that he makes are grandma, margherita, and pepperoni/jalapeno. The grandma pie is quite unique with its crunchy crust, hearty marinara sauce, thick slices of melted homemade mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil. The margherita pie is topped with ricotta, marinara, and fresh basil as well. If you want a little spice, try his pepperoni and jalapeño pie. If pizza isn’t your thing, his garlic knots are buttery goodness that are very tasty and addictive. In addition to his regular garlic knots, you can add cheese, marinara, or even pepperoni onto your knots. My favorite creation is garlic knots covered in marinara sauce, topped with melted cheese, and beef pepperoni. Also, he has baked rolls of deliciousness that you can stuff with whatever you are craving. I haven’t tried their pastas, hero’s, or even salads but planning on doing so very soon. Outstanding pizza in the heart of NY!

When it comes to Pizza, Frank has studied all of the science behind it, tried so many different types of ways to come up with the PERFECT Margherita Pizza. He dedicated about 2 years to come with the perfect one! He sure nailed it!

Coming into East Village Pizza was so awesome. Not only did I get to try delicious pizza but also customize the type of pizza I wanted, right to my taste! I ordered the perfect white pizza. Delicious dough, thin, crispy crust, soft, yummy. What else can you expect out of this place? Everyone comes through here for a slice or a whole pie. They have so many options to choose from. There’s nothing Frank won’t do!

He’s dedicated to his business and his pizza and has been delivering to his happy customers day after day for years and years. If you don’t like your pizza, he’ll make it again. If you still don’t like it, you can just make it yourself (kidding!) but that’s how much he wants you to be happy with it. He’ll go out of his way for you!

Small little spot, it’s not the best for a huge crowd but for sure is he best for take outs or a quick bite.

Make sure to check them out when you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed with a Margherita or a White pizza. Just delicious!

👉🏻INSTAGRAM @TRIPONFITNESS & @TRIPONFOODIES 💯 This place lives up to its social media hype! I've been blogging food all weekend and glad came by here. The pizza is on point and the garlic knots are so GARLIC-YYYYY.

UPDATE 11/15/19: I had the cheesy garlic knots for the first time and HOLY KNOT... it was incredible.

Bring your appetite and try many kinds! I tried pepperoni, Hawaiian and buffalo pizza. The crust was so light and airy and super crunchy. Not only is the pizza good but the staff is amazing.

The 2 guys working are so down to earth and took great care of us. The owner comes in at night and does live INSTAGRAM videos at night showcasing this awesome pizza spot. UPDATE: 11/15/19 - Came by and had the double STACKED pizza. Buffalo under and pepperoni on top and it was the best pizza I've ever had. It's like having 3 whole pizzas in one because of the amount of toppings and cheese and somehow the crust manages to stay crispy and crunchy while the middle crust almost blends in just like the cheese and the consistency is delightful.
