Gila's Nosh — Restaurant in New York

I love Gila and her family. First and foremost, great people, which still stands for something. The food is incredible, made with care and love. I've eaten most everything on the menu - delicious. I don't endorse places, but when I do, I stand behind it 100%. Even though my company is moving offices across town, I will still order from Gila's and make the trip.

UPDATE 1: Thankfully, my company is no longer moving across town. I can't say enough about how much I adore this place.

UPDATE 2: With the refurbished kitchen, Gila's has expanded the menu, as if this place could get any better. It has. Also, come for the BYOB Friday dinner (you must call for a reservation). ...

First time ever trying Mediterranean food and wasn't disappointed! Asked for recommendations and our waitress was more than accommodating with helping us order. Gila came out to check and see how we liked everything and it was pleasing that she cared so much about our personal experience. One of the best parts to our NYC visit and would highly recommend this restaraunt to all in the area. Moderately low prices, we order lamb kebab, falafel, eggplant, and a dip. Ate every bit. Moroccan mint tea...

A taste of home! I was born far, far away from Manhattan. I have almost no family there. But whenever I want to feel like I'm back in my mother's kitchen, not only being served delicious food but really cared for, I go to Gila's Nosh. My friends and I all joke around saying that Gila is our other mother, and there's more than a little truth in that - the food is delicious and made with love, and you'll always get a smile...
