God Bless USA Deli — Restaurant in New York

I used to always go to this place late night ... NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!!!.... i waited 20 minutes just for the guy to take my order .. on top of that he had a horrible attitude... after i ordered and my food was cooking usually is takes about 7 minutes for a chop cheese to cook .. this guy threw it on the grill for less then 3 minutes .. then some polish kid came in and ordered a chop cheese..... and he gave the meat he was cooking for me and gave him most of it and tried to give me the scraps half of the bread didnt even have meat .. so then i asked the guy how come come his has way more meat then mine and i ordered like 10 minutes before him and he got his sandwich almost instantly.. he told me “ if you want extra meat it $2” and then the other guy came and said “ dont worry boss everything is the same” i order chop cheese all the time.... IT WASNT THE SAME !!!!! Then the guy looked at the Polish kid and they were laughing under there breath.. Long story short i walked out without my order and without paying .. today i ordered 6 bacon egg and cheese without planning to pick it up or pay .. lmfao. so who got the last laugh now ??? Im bout to do that everyday until i feel...

Saturday was my 1st at God Bless and gotta say I was impressed. I ordered a Chopped Chicken Sub with No Onion and No Peppers due to being allergic to Raw Onions. My Sub had the Onions and Peppers on it but they were perfectly grilled and after the 1st hesitated bite, I was hooked and couldn't stop eating it. Yeah I should have spoken up and yelled about the mess up, but watching the cook as he grilled them, I had a good idea I was in for a treat and he nailed it as far as making sure the Onions and Peppers were grilled to perfection. Whenever I make a return trip back to Brooklyn, I will definitely make sure I stop in at God Bless again. As a Burger Lover, I definitely want to try...

I really love the lunches in this store! It's a little treasure tucked away on Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint that maybe a lot of people don't know about! I go in there from time to time and I get the grilled chicken over yellow rice with salad and white sauce and it is absolutely dreamy. For $6 you get the lunch and you get a soda for free. They have all kinds of food in there so you should go and check it out because their prices are really reasonable and their food is...
