I used to love this store until now when I realized that they don't restock their shelves. I live 20 minutes away by car from that store and I go there just because of all the positive experience I had with them in the past. Sadly, I feel like I will have to look for a closer alternative because they are always out of stock on certain items. I went in there little over a month ago to get a table cloth. My table is a rectangle and I found one and only blue rectangular table cloth. After realizing it fits nicely I drove back there a week later to get more but the shelve was just how I left it a week ago with all the round styles and the same unpacked/repacked blue tablecloth on the front hanging (guess someone took it out to see how it looks and attempted to out it back themselves) and no rectangular styles available. I went back there two weeks later and the same exact picture. Repacked blue tablecloth on the front with no rectangular styles available. They don't even bother fixing the repacked one. This is just a most recent example of how my experience has been with them lately. Why have a store if you never restock the shelves and only things are left are the ones that...
Read moreI am very disappointed with this store. I asked one of the sales associates if they have a bag of floss picks. The girl didn't respond to me. She didn't understand what I was saying. She didn't even know where it was. See here is the problem. The manager hires people that don't speak English and the employees are not trained well. I remember there was a girl who worked there and spoke English and Spanish and she was very attentive. She helped me find the items I wanted. But I don't see her anymore. She was the only one who knows how to do her job. I've also seen other customers asking for the items they wanted and the sales associates just walks away. They don't know what is customer service. The manager is not doing a good job...
Read moreI shopped here when it was called Super D or something, it closed and I was glad to see it's return. Best prices ANYWHERE for basics like socks, underwear, etc. The staff is always friendly, especially Isa the cashier and the security guards. Everybody in the neighborhood goes there, it is a shame that Greenpoint is becoming gentrified and this place will most likely disappear in the years to come, as all good things in NYC have recently. As I write this, I am wearing their underwear, socks, and even using their 3 dollar eyeglasses to see!!! I am in no way related to the owners or anything, but I am a walking model of DII products. Perhaps I should be their paid...
