Mushroom Cream Udon - 7/10 The mushroom cream udon really hits the flavors spot on but as most cream udon's go, it gets quite heavy after a while and I find it difficult to finish. If you are for more heavy flavors I say go for this dish because my boyfriend really enjoyed it. I actually ordered the mushroom cream udon for myself but we ended up swapping meals. Mentaiko Udon - 8/10 If you want a lighter mushroom cream udon than this dish is for you. Mentaiko is cream udon's slightly less creamy and slightly less flavorful cousin but just as delicious. I actually enjoyed this dish more than the mushroom cream udon because it wasn’t so heavy. However, I do find myself picking at the mushroom cream udon because I wanted some mushrooms. Definitely wished there were more ingredients in this udon.

This was the worst soba I have ever had. I would give zero if I could. Forget the quality of the noodle themselves, but they served us the broken end bits, like the broken tiny pieces, like an inch or two pieces you might find at the bottom of a soba bag, that you normally throw out. Our party of three found it unedible, and two of us had a stomach ache after and wondered if it was just some old soba stock they acquired on discount. We are Asian and eat soba as staples, and in all our years eating soba both in New York and Japan, we had never had seen a business serving customers the tiny end broken crumbs of soba pieces that should be thrown out. This was unethical, and we should have demanded our money back. Do not go to this place unless you want to chuck $15 per each (we ordered tempura soba) down the trash can, and chance a...

I ordered the soba noodles and I went to put the green onions onto my soba and it turned out there was wasabi mixed with the green onion. I went back to the stand and asked if they could remake it without the wasabi since my food was so spicy that it was inedible, and the guy at the stand said “you should’ve told me”. But aren’t you supposed to tell the customer what is in which container? I just ignored him and I asked if he could remake it and he said it would be an additional $4. I was hungry so I just paid. When I got the soba the second time around they were undercooked, nearly solid and I just got no green onion. I just left and threw away my food because of how disappointing it was. Nothing is actually authentic here and the staff do not care at all/rude. Do not give them money for overpriced and...

The cold soba was the worst I’ve ever had, and it’s one of my favorite dishes. I was really disappointed because I had high expectations for this place. The 400 yen soba that you can buy in convenient stores in Japan is even much better than this. :( The soba we ordered came in clumps, and had hard texture in parts. It was also awkwardly chopped up into small uneven bits. The texture was awful-Tough to chew, while other parts too soft. Inconsistent. The dipping sauce had way too much sodium. The staff didn’t give green onion or the small seaweed that it would normally come with. The staff that took our order was very rude, and stared at my friend in a rude and uncomfortable way. Maybe it was just a bad day but we will definitely not go back. Too many other places in the city with much better...
