Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

This is a store that I loved going to. I was never disappointed but then there was a change in ownership or staff. Since then service has not been the same. Every time I go to this store in particular, they are low on something. Sometimes they don't have roti skin for the curry chicken. Sometime they have roti skin only but they don't have certain meats or the patty of you choice. The last few times I went to this store, I left disappointed. The staff is not friendly or accommodating. On this day in particular My son was sick. I called to ask if they had soup and the gentleman that answered the phone said that they would be serving it all day. When I got there they said that the soup was gone. The purpose of me calling was so that I would not go there in vain. My son could only eat soup. I asked for their manager and they said that they did not have one. They refused to give me their names but I went there on December 4, 2016 around 2:55 PM. DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION. IT'S QUITE EMPTY. GO TO the location on Eastern Pkwy and Utica Ave. They have GREAT service! I went there for the last time today....

It was my first visit to this GK. I was so distraught at the conditions in the parking lot. Garbage strewn all over and just a turn off. Lost my appetite going in and after getting the food. If my partner waiting in the car wasn’t hungry and craving a beef pattie I would have turned around. The restaurant was clean and fast service. At a time when we are demanding to be treated with respect and dignity, it should start in our own communities and with our own folks. I am choosing to spend my funds in the community but it’s a turn off to walk thru garbage to get some Caribbean food. Is it that difficult to partner with the other store owners in the lot and hire a lot attendant to ensure the parking lot is maintained. Young mothers with their kids walking Thru garbage to get food. What’s the message to these...

I came to this Golden Krust yesterday July 15, ordered patties the cashier with the bleach out skin has the worst attitude ever for no reason!! I ordered my patties she rolled her eyes as if she clearly didn't want to be there she never put gloves on. I asked a question not only did she not respond she rolled her eyes again!!! This location needs to seriously fire their staff and hire ppl who want to work!! Until then they don't deserve our business!!! Customer service sucks and so does the food portion for the price!!!

Let's be clear it is evident that management doesn't care because most of the reviews have the same complaint yet the same hard face disrespectful, unsanitary employee work there! Let's take our business elsewhere!! This location is giving Golden Krust a bad...
