Green Spot Café — Restaurant in New York

Great spot to grab a cup and relax. Very friendly staff. Attentive and quick service. I got a caramel latte and my wife got a vanilla latte. Both were brought to us very quickly and were delicious. Looks like they have a pretty good selection of food too. Nice sized refrigerator case with various cakes and treats. Also, a good choice of soft drinks. Didn't order any prepared food but they have an extensive menu to choose from. Nice atmosphere, plenty of seating available for us (4) and all the other people (about 10 or 12) to sit comfortably. Unfortunately the weather was garbage today otherwise we would have enjoyed taking advantage of the ample outdoor seating they have. It's covered, so rain wouldn't have been an issue, just a little chilly to have our 2 little ones outside. In short, definitely recommend checking this place out and we will return for sure next time we visit the area.

My partner and I come back here all the time. It is the best go-to for any hangouts. The staff is beyond phenomenal. Salazar (owner) is always a pleasure to be around. Their passion fruit lemonade is perhaps the best tasting drink I ever had, and the passion fruit tea comes close as well. I can say the same about their chipotle mayo and green salsa. We recommend the steak sandwich and if you're vegetarian/vegan, the avocado toast does not disappoint. As great as the food is, we come back for the atmosphere and Salazar and his family.
