Guac Time Mexican Grill — Restaurant in New York

This use to be my favorite taco place because it's in my neighborhood and the price is reasonable. Until today... Sorry Time...

The other day i went in to get the usual two tacos than said out loud i never finish it im jus go some place else i said out loud preparing to walk out than young lady at the cash register told me they sell one taco. I was like great because sometimes I can't finish all of the food and i don't wanna be wasteful ... Side note (they do give a lot of food) So one taco and some guac and chips is perfect!!! That was what i was going to get

But tonight there was a new guy there and I asked for one taco he rolled his eyes than said to me we don't make one taco. I said that can't possibly be I was just here the other day on the seventh today is the ninth right the same young lady at the cash register was there she rang me up and served me... and he than looked at me and said stop being cheap you black B and didn't finish the rest of the word... we don't sell one taco. I got so upset and began talking loud ...telling him I'm not making this up out of nowhere!!! I said to the girl I was just here the other day you rang me up and made me one steak taco she's said yess please that true OK that's the general manager just give me a second ... he than said to me what you gonna order because the menu is here I pulled up my receipt from my credit card statement on my phone and I said I'm not just making this up I come here all the time I never seen you before it's not about money don't want to be wasteful because i don't eat it all that's why I'm asking for one taco and ima get some chips and guac ... I showed it to him my credit card he said I don't care what you say it's no one has ever made you one taco the menu has always been the same..

No I'm mad and not hungry any more They are calling me a liar to my face.....

i only got one taco once the other day on March 7th and the girl was standing right here is the she took my order ... I said in an irate voice

She looked me in my eyes and said in front of the man I don't know i think

I said so you are looking me in my eyes and lying.. Wooow

I pulled up my receipt and I showed it to him she started looking shocked and he rolled his eyes again and told me to get the F out while standing in a very aggressive manner yelling at me saying I'm lying and his body language looked like he wanted to hit me...

That I lived in and given back by buying and supporting all businesses in my community)

this business just opened up about maybe 3 to 6 months ago I don't treat loyal customers that live in a neighborhood like that... whoever that man was the said he was a general manager is so rude and I don't suggest anybody go there anymore and here is the proof that they did sell me one taco on March 7th..... I will never go to this location again... And if you only want one taco i don't suggest you go...

Weird vibes, there was one guy behind the counter when I walked in and a line of Uber eats drivers waiting for their orders, I placed my order online hoping it was ready but alas I waited an extra 20 mins as slowly the staff count grew to 3 as the other 2 staff slowly milled out from the back on their website they have a regular burrito and a "special Gauc time burrito" I called before I ordered to find out what the special Burrito was and they told me it's a buy one get one so I decided to order here but Low and behold by the time (finally) they were ready to send my on my way out it only 1 burrito was included, when I asked about it the counter guy said it's not included (an extra one) I asked if it includes a drink maybe but alas it seems the term "special" on their website is meaningless. pretty scummy if you ask me and the price difference between their website and Uber was less than $3!! totally aggravating when I tried to be direct and call them to clarify and was willing to conceded and take a drink instead. If you're not familiar with their menu, order process you are going to be challenged. Maybe it's just me. Staff wasn't too helpful at first but I pushed through and someone who appeared to be in charge realized I needed help and stepped in taking over from the young lady. Thank you sir.

I got the steak taco. You can have two or three shells. First time here so I went with two.

You're allowed five toppings and because of my food sensitivity I could only have two so it was lettuce and cheese on my steak. I wish they didn't mix in onions with the corn or the tomatoes.

It's Guac Time but to have that time, you have to pay extra. I didn't. I instead boldly went for my taste via their Guac-ranch sauce. It's so yummy! And I DON'T TYPICALLY LIKE RANCH.

Even though it's mostly takeout (during the time I was there), I appreciate the space with indoor dinning available.

Solid (somewhat healthier) fast food joint. 3.8 stars in my book.
