Better coffee, but inconsistent at times. Service should be much better since they're not a chain and no line mostly. The coffee is fresh sometimes, then other times it's sour and acidic. I've also watched the barista filled my latte with 95% milk which is way too much for a latte. Sometimes even fill my ice americano with tap water just to fill it up. Pastry is definitely overpriced and old. I promise you not baked in premise. Blueberry strudel muffin is the only pastry that taste good but don’t carry it anymore lately. It’s also $4 for a tiny muffin around 1/2 the size you get elsewhere. Also I am T2D so I always specifically ask for no sugar always. One time I saw the pumpkin spice flavor latte available and wanted to try it. When I got it, it was so sweet for me that I had to pour it out. I called and asked why it's soooo sweet when I asked for no sugar. The answer was oh pumpkin spice have sugar premixed in it. It would be great if the barista can mention hey you wanted no sugar but pumpkin spice have tons of sugar, are you sure? I hope the service can be better, and quality can improve and keep consistent in the future since this area is growing. I'd like to come by more often since I work in the area. The discount for customers that work in the area went from 10% to 3%. What a joke. Sometimes they do not give the discount even if I say I work in the area. Definitely not my go to coffee store at that price.
Customer service I have experienced is good after I reached out on their website. However that does not make up for the price, food, and average...
Read moreBeen going here since they opened. Waited awhile to review because I really wanted things to get better. Hasn’t happened.
Giving one star for the coffee which is very good. A second star for the space which is nice with an outdoor seating area for when it’s warm. Stars end there.
The staff is hit or miss. Some days polite, other days irritated they have to put their phones down to make your drink. Never know what you’re going to get.
No frequent customer punch cards. Even though my office is across the street I still walk to Colsons for this reason. I also tried to work a deal with them because, I refer my customers to them for drinks all the time. They weren’t interested in the business even though I’ve never seen more than 4 people in there at a time. I now refer people as well Colsons.
The milk and sugar station is often out of something — almond milk, simple syrup, etc. They recently added a sign that reads “no liquids please” above the only trash can. I guess you either need to completely finish your drink or throw it out elsewhere? Makes no sense.
UPDATE Also no WiFi and no public use of the bathroom. They have a bathroom, but they put a sign on the door that says "Utility Room" and do not allow customers to use it. I guess all they care about is...
Read moregreat staff, decent coffee, location is not too convenient, my biggest complaint is the outrageous price point. which does not justify the quality and/or quantity. I ordered a 12 oz ( half of which was ice) iced drink with the following add ons ( cinnamon, and oat milk) I was charged a total of $10 without tip. I have never paid that much for a cup of coffee. I understand the mark up on add ons but for $10 I cannot recommend to others that. the cost is not worthy of a minimally known coffee roasting company/coffee shop. inflation doesn't equal to up charging without...
