Love this place.
The ambiance is awesome. There is a massive bookshelf with a variety of books id you need a break from your work + a spacious outdoors.
Their croissants and tahini cookies are amazing. Many Vegan options.
Staff is super welcoming.
It always very clean-- I know this may be a strange comment, but (as someone who dwells in such cafes often) there are so many places that have great spaces/ambience to accommodate a high-traffic of laptop folk, but then they dont prioritize the upkeep and it becomes unpleasant since you're there to work, eat and drink. Fortunately this place is kept very well, tables are always ready without stuff, bathrooms are clean and smell great, food is always fresh and well-handled.
My only issue is that sometimes the music is very loud and fast beat (techno-ish) which can be distracting when I am trying to focus. BUT the guy sitting next to me today is typing away while bopping his head, so I guess it...
Read moreI finally decided to check out this coffee shop in my neighborhood and didn’t know what to expect. I love the dim lighting in the shop, it makes me feel more calm personally and the unique music with no lyrics is great while concentrating on work. The workers are very nice and chill and the drinks are REALLY good. The Poética coffee always slaps and I recently tried their lemonade specials, berry lemonade and passion fruit lemonade, pricey but both were very pretty and very delicious! I wasn’t expecting them to be sparkling either it added a nice touch. Overall, great atmosphere for getting work done, service is fast but not rushed, and the drinks are delish. I wouldn’t get the food there because it honestly looks store...
Read moreDelicious pastry, tasty coffee, nice place… with only one person working and another standing there staring at her watching her work. I’m not sure what the deal is there, but they need to have two people going. One focused on making drinks and the other on taking orders/helping. This one (nice, once you could get there!) woman was taking a single order, then making the drinks for it, then grabbing the food. Lather, rinse, and repeat. It made for a huge line at all times. While the other person literally stood back there and watched her. I saw her once hop onto the computer to start taking an order, but then nothing else. I don’t know if she was new or what, but it was weird. I’ll go back because the coffee was nice, decently priced, and the place was overall a win… but I’m...
