Very, very disappointed about what happens today, read careful: I been a new Yorker for a while, before a moved to NJ. I eat in this place a few times, today I stop my car and ask polity to use the restroom, lady’s who was running the cashier told me that I need to buy something or don’t let me use it, by law you must let me use it, i don’t gonna ask if I don’t needed, it was rush hour and I know I need to spend 1hs in the Lincoln tunnel. Finally the bar front of this place let me use it right away. I’m not only disappointed about that they told me need to buy something, they where rude to me, they defiantly lose me as a customer but also want to share the restroom policy in nyc in Restaurnat :
1.) In New York State, a business has to let you use the employee bathroom "even if the place of business does not normally make the employee toilet facility available to the public". Though there must be TWO employees in the store at that given time AND "the individual requesting the use of the employee toilet facility has an eligible medical condition or utilizes an ostomy device", according to the New York State site.
2.) "All single-occupancy bathrooms gender neutral in school districts, charter schools, SUNY, CUNY, community colleges, restaurants, bars, mercantile establishments, factories, and state-owned or operated buildings."
3.) Family restrooms are not necessary in every establishment, despite some parties trying to pass such a law.
4.) State law requires that there be a certain number of porta potties at certain places. For example, on job sites, there must be 1 porta potty...
Read moreMy co workers and I were really looking forward to having take out from this establishment on our very short break. Since time was tight, we needed to make sure we got our food at a specific time. So we decided to place a pre order for pick up two hours before we wanted the food.
We made sure everyone’s order had their name with it, in hopes that packaging would be neat a our morder was ready to be picked up.
We approached the the pickup station to be told out food was not ready and that it could be ready within 7-10 minutes. 20 minutes later we are still waiting. Our order wasn’t even started. They were out of certain ingredients and couldn’t make everyone’s tacos. A chef comes out and asks what we want instead. (Which was very nice of him. But when you’re asking us 20 minutes AFTER our food was supposed to be ready it was made very clear that the food wasn’t started.)
When we finally got back to our place of work (35 minutes AFTER we were supposed to return) we only had 7 minutes to distribute the food and eat it all. The packaging was an absolute mess and made it impossible to know who’s was who.
If you want to run an establishment in Hell’s Kitchen you MUST be ready for what’s to come. Staff properly. Be ready.

Read moreFast and relatively inexpensive. Gf and I had a Tuesday night dinner here and we came in hungry. We realized the power move here is to order your stuff one at a time so it’s always super fresh. We started w the chips and chorizo fundito which was cool bc it came w two lil cheese dips so we had our own. The chips were super robust too, thick, almost like pita chips. The we went back to the counter and ordered our tacos. I got a Philly and a shrimp mexicana and gf got a vegetarian and a fish. We also got a carnita quesadilla. The quesadilla was great but uneven. I go two big bites and she got one big one and we didn’t eat the last piece which seemingly had no guts. Both my Philly and shrimp taco were great and gf liked the fish but the veggie came on a weird purple tortilla and since she had it second and after the quesadilla she said it was stale. Overall we left full and spent about 60 bucks, including one sangria, which was eight dollars and humongous. We will go back and try some more things...
