Came for the happy hour, stayed for the sushi. Just simply amazing.
Two different experiences that reflects the spectrum of guest reviews as I dined there Friday night and Saturday Night.
As we waited for seating, we were greeted by all the waiters and waitress that worked that night and the restaurant manager ensuring us the wait wont be too long. Shout out to Jocelyn, Ben and Christopher as they worked together to ensure a great dining experience. They kept the waters filled, and ensured the orders were correct before carrying on to another guest. Carlo tied it together at the end by inviting us to come back and pleasantly ushered us off as we were the last few guests to leave. We sat at the sushi bar and was able to chat with the sushi chefs as well.
Saturday night, Carlo recognized our return and invited us to sit at the marbel table which had a bigger space but a shared space with other food stalls. The servers did not provide their names this time and were no Ben Chris and Jocelyn. Though service was kept to standard, it leaves plenty of room for improvement.
Quality of food for both night were top notch and definitely take advantage of the happy hour drink promotion! The place is perfect for a romantic evening or a fun gathering. Cant see myself going anywhere else when I'm...

Back in 2017-2019, Hudson Eats was truly a gem of New York’s food scene. It was a food hall filled with every type of high-quality cuisine you could imagine, bustling with people and brimming with gourmet options. It was a go-to spot, a food court elevated with all kinds of upscale, curated food choices. I remember vividly one of the best burgers I ever had there in 2019—a meal that stayed with me and made me eager to return for that same experience.

Many of the mini-markets and stalls have closed down, leaving a noticeable gap in the variety and quality of options. The steak section, once filled with a rich assortment of cuts and dishes, now feels empty. Even the burger that I remembered so fondly has lost its charm, tasting lackluster compared to the memory.
Seeing Hudson Eats change like this is disheartening. What was once a hub of excitement and top-tier flavors now feels like a shadow of its former self. It’s sad to see such a once-thriving spot...
