I recently had the pleasure of visiting this black seed bagels Brookfield place and was absolutely blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of bagels was intoxicating, and the vibrant atmosphere instantly put a smile on my face.

But what truly made my visit exceptional was the incredible service. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, handling a busy morning rush with grace and genuine warmth. Every interaction felt personalized, and you could tell they truly cared about ensuring each customer had a great experience.

A special shout-out has to go to Cindy, the manager. She's a true rockstar! Cindy was not only actively involved on the floor, helping customers and guiding her team, but she also took the time to check in with guests, making everyone feel valued and welcome. She has an infectious positive energy and clearly sets a fantastic example for her staff. Her leadership shines through in the seamless operation and the overwhelmingly positive vibe of the place.

And of course, the bagels! Oh my goodness, the bagels. They were perfectly chewy on the inside, with a satisfying crust on the outside, and all the toppings were fresh and generously applied. I tried the bagel and it was easily one of the best I've ever had.

Went to the Black Seed Bagel Elizabeth St location and it was excellent! My family was in the Battery Park area and we went to the Battery Park location and it was horrible! First, the person taking the order had an attitude and said if we wanted anything other than just a bagel, the wait time would be 30 minutes. There was no line so we were surprised to hear this so we took her advice and all ordered just bagels. It still took 25 minutes and the bagels were not toasted properly and they got our order wrong and put cream cheese instead of butter. This location is not the "real" location. The bagels were in bags not made there. The Elizabeth Street locations makes the wood fired bagels right on the spot! Don't waste your time at the Battery Park location, go to the other locations as you will get the true Black Seed...

Don't waste your time with this Black Seed location. Same prices as the normal locations, but far worse food and service. My bagel was outright mushy after being "toasted" and it took nearly 10 minutes to get an egg sandwich made. I love Black Seed at the Elizabeth Street location. I don't know what happened to this location that makes it so tremendously bad. The bagel was Panera Bread-level bad. It tasted like it came out of a plastic bag, wasn't toasted, and had a bunch of ingredients slopped together.

To be fair, I don't know what I was thinking visiting Bloomfield Place in the first place. It's a nightmareland of tourists and half-assed satellite versions of actually good NYC restaurants. Don't waste your time — get out of FiDi and enjoy a meal literally...
