save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else. the place is about as welcoming as Rikers Island. the first thing I saw was a female security guard who had to move a rope for customers to enter or exit. then when I got inside the store, the shelves were chaotic, which is ridiculous because this store just opened. it's a hot mess already. very small selection of coats for men, messy shoe department, rude employees. I had to use the bathroom so I followed the signs directing us to it, and I was denied by a rude male security guard. my partner and I picked out some shoes, but ended up leaving them behind because the selection was so terrible that we weren't getting what we actually wanted, plus we saw the ridiculously long line with just a few cashiers. and I had to use the bathroom so we weren't waiting in that long line for a pair of shoes. the worst part is that when my partner and I were leaving, the same rude male security guard who denied me the ability to use the bathroom accosted us. he was so intent on bothering us that he was shaking the entire escalator as he followed us. all so he could accuse us of stealing the shoes that we left behind. smfh! and when I told him that we weren't waiting in that line for some shoes especially when I urgently needed to use a bathroom, he emptily told us that he would have moved us to the front of the line if we had told him. what a liar! he was just trying to save face because he knew he had chased us down for no apparent reason. I will NOT be back. it's only a matter of time before they shut...
Read moreStarting at the Entrance you have to wait for someone to open the rope and let you in ⊠not a flawless start. No picture scene worth catching your attention while you go up this escalator. Another rope at the top of the escalator with clothing at close proximity⊠no good .. at that point it should be an open area to give the customer a hello đ come in feeling. In stead I felt enclosed and stuffy. I see carts from the back filled with products that should be left in the back if thereâs no time to put it away. 2x I Ieft my Ătems by the shelf at the counter because they have the audacity to leave 1 person alone working against all these buyers. How can you bring in the money đ° if at the least manager and assistant mangers donât pitch in at the register when low in staff? Itâs a good asset for the hospital across the street. A patient family member or friend may want to buy a get well â€ïžâđ©č gift or a needed piece of clothing but who wants to wait !!! In that ridiculous long line. Further donât exploit a hard working employee!!! Burlington quality before profit. In this store your...
Read moreI've been at this store since day one. First we are so excited to have Burlington in Our Community! I've read the reviews before writing this and I have to say that Upon opening the store was fully stocked, bathrooms and fitting rooms were available and the store looked great! Especially to see how big the store is! I've seen the Community come in here and Steal, Reck the Store and Leave their outside food, manly drinks and cups all over the store! I do agree that this store is under staffed and that they don't have a better checkout system. They should have a return/exchange line and an Elderly line. Then the standard line wouldn't be so bad. The staff is great, you can tell there just trying to keep up with the disrespect we've given them! Our Community has to do better if we want better! My personal shopper opinion! We make it or break this store. I really don't want to see this store close down like all...
