Our server Jay was excellent. We were a party of 11 for a birthday. Jay was great about taking our orders and everything that came out was correct. The food was good but for what came out to be $80 per person it wasn't that good. The bottles of Wycliff Brut and Brut Rosé are worth less than $10. So we paid $70 for food and tip. The space is large enough to dance next to your table but not if the table across from you is also ready to party. Once it got packed it got very hot. The fans were off and the air circulation was very limited. We asked them to adjust the air and were told no. The reason was that not enough people were complaining. I guess enough people complained eventually because the fans were finally turned on. No one should have to complain about warm indoor temperatures and lack of circulations and windows, while dancing and drinking alcohol. This should be automatc to have proper ventilation. The fact that fans are ‘locked’ and turned on by them at their discretion is absurd. When we arrived for our 2pm reservation it was getting packed. We were waiting for 2 people to find parking and could not be seated until they arrived. Once they arrived we had to still wait an additional 10 minutes for our table. The food entrees included in the base price of $45 are only the first 6 items listed on prix fixe menu. Everything else has an upcharge. Then there is an administrative fee (not sure what that is for) and tip is included making the minimum $60 per person. None of what’s listed on the Brunch Prix Fixe Menu is worth $60. They create the illusion of you receiving a whole bottle of sangria or champagne but those bottles are $7 each. So don't get the pancakes unless you want to pay $53 for pancakes and a $7 bottle of champagne. The bathroom attendant has an attitude problem. She was very rude and snappy. It was very unprofessional the way she was behaving. Coat check is also MANDATORY for an additional $5, and they aren’t very pleasant in delivering this message. They told my friend he had to check his blazer. A blazer is not a coat or a jacket, it was part of his outfit. I won't be coming back here unless forced to do so by another friend. I was unsure of coming here because of the 3.5 stars. I feel now that I was justified in my concern. Average atmosphere with over priced average food. At least the DJ was on point.

It's just clubbing during the daytime. It's a neat concept and place but really expensive. While we waited for the birthday girl a few of us got drinks at the bar. My cranberry vodka was $20 (was there even much vodka in it?) and the little whiskey drink my friend got was $25. Also, you can bring a cake for free but it's a $5 per person plating cost. Like, what? I used to work in restaurants and always thought places that charged like that were really tacky. Maybe $5 or $10 for a cake but per person is excessive especially when everything else is overpriced. Another thing - wth is the admin fee that's on top of the 15% service fee? The service wasn't really anything. Took forever to order. Took forever for the food to come out. 2 people from the party who came like 10 minutes before the food arrived got their orders first but people who showed up first had to wait an extra 10 minutes because they didn't make enough food. That was really annoying. I got the eggs benedict. It's my go-to whenever I go out to brunch so I feel like I know what to look for. The flavor was fine. It was mostly just garlic (and I love garlic, so I didn't mind) but the hollandaise sauce didn't have much flavor. The potatoes didn't have any flavor to themselves either. Bland and boring; same for the side salad as well. The really annoying bit was that the eggs were way overcooked. My friend got the avocado toast and her poached eggs was the same. It's not hard to poach an egg so please stop serving overcooked eggs. It's disappointing and ruins the point of eggs Benedict. I've gone to cheap diners that make it better for a fraction of the cost and have better food presentation. Overall my impression is "eh". The atmosphere is neat but really your friends make it what it is so you could go anywhere and still have just as good a time and spend less money. The food is sub-par for what you're spending. Did I have fun? Yes. Would I go again? Not unless another friend wanted to have their birthday there...e

My experience here was okay. #1 we had a reservation at 4pm, but then around 3:30 they called us to say they double booked us and moved us to 6pm. That was really inconvenient and not fair. #2 we tried to shoot our shot and tried to go in around 5:15 as we were all already there and trying to wait until 6. They let us sit early… when we got inside there was a lot of empty/free tables. The menu is prefixed so either you go for the $50/75/150. And of course the more money you spend the better options you get for food. Also the choices of the bottle you receive increases with price. The food was okay, but it didn’t merit $75. No bottle of mimosa is worth even close to that. Or a chicken sandwich. I understand that the place needs to make profit but umm… The DJ was good. People were dancing on the dance floor Also if you want to go somewhere and chat with your friends this is not it. It’s extremely loud and dark. So you’re yelling and yelling some more to hear each other. And using your phone flash light to see the menu. The bouncers outside was my favorite part. Very friendly and welcoming. A lot of people were celebrating their birthdays. As for me, I think this is the first and last time.

IL Bastardo!! Ridiculously overpriced! (Read before you visit) They are going to up charge you for every little thing! Even a fee per person to cut your own birthday cake, smh.We called the day before to ask about payment and they informed us that, the restaurant only takes one card, or cash. They failed to inform us that there was also a mandatory coat check that only takes cash. And prior to entering the restaurant they hold your credit card and ID at their front desk until you leave! I’ve never heard of anything like that before, smh. I was informed when I made the reservation for the Prix Fix $50 brunch that roughly each meal should come to around $67.

Although the food and music was good. They charge you an additional fee for extra sides in which we had multiple sides of the same items at our table. The waitress failed to inform us that a side is actually a whole entire plate; not a small portion. They also ran out of champagne and mimosas from the day before! Which was also apart of the Prix Fix package, forcing us to move into the next package which was of course more expensive. They informed us that the restaurant ran out of champagne the night before and my Birthday brunch was at Noon. We should have been compensated accordingly in which they failed to do so! Instead, we were up charged and forced to pay for the more expensive package. This is highly unprofessional. Needless to say we were only supposed to pay around 60 to 70 something dollars each. We all ended up paying over $140pp! That’s double the price I was quoted when I made my reservation for my Sunday birthday brunch.

Although, I thought it was going to be a nice place, it was overly priced! I could see if you were getting a nice view to go with such a high bill. The ambiance was not worth the price we were charged! If the restaurant runs out of an item on the menu then they should offset the cost or compensate the customer it’s only fair. I was highly disappointed and found this to be an unscrupulous business practice of...
