It's a good urban (mostly concrete) park that's popular with older locals, pigeons and homeless New Yorkers. I wish it had more green space but it does have seating and tables, a dog park and a place to buy food and drinks.

It's almost all concrete with a small grass hill. It ok if you are in search of a quick place to rest for a few minutes while walking. It definitely is not a good destination spot.

This is NOT a dog park! This is a small park that faces Ninth Avenue and West 57th Street. It is near the 57th Street cross town bus and it is a handy spot to rest for a short time when you are en route to local shops. Construction is taking place on Ninth Avenue and this can be a noisy location. The small green grass area is frequently used for dogs to do whatever and it spoils the environment for people, especially locals who like to lie in the sun. This is not an area for dog walking unless you are making a very quick walk through to get to 57th Street. This is a popular spot for smokers and newspaper reading. There is a kiosk that sells ice cream and pizza slices. For those who like to sit there are benches. Seating is limited. There are two entrances. One of them leads to a few swings and a place to sit. Yes, the Harmless Homeless do tend to rest there but I can't see they are...

Interesting "park" - apparently it is owned by one of the neighboring residential complexes. Recently they put up a sign that "no dogs" were allowed on the grass with the threat of a fine - meaning one less green space in the already fraught and touristy upper HK area, which is becoming more hostile to dogs and friendlier to tourists of late. Not terribly neighborly, though I understand if upkeep was getting to be too much. Just wish they'd take care of the rest of the facilities - it's nice enough (thank you for the benches!) but doesn't seem to have been designed by an urban planner. Good to take a rest, and relatively safe. The pigeons here...

What can I say about this random park that I found on the side of a road I was walking down while waiting for a friendly get-together and cocktail hour to start at a nearby bar?

It had everything people that had people taking naps. It had people that were kissing with quite a lot of fervor. The park had a tree or three.

It was a great place for me to sit down and people watch, and there was much watching of...
