I have been a member here for a long time, and I have to agree with the reviews on here regarding space allocation. I have yet to enter the weights area because I find it intimidating how cramped it is. I want a little bit of space to myself, and it is just way too cramped with the equipment. I recently went in the app to make an appointment with a trainer to make a plan. I booked the open slot and dragged myself out of bed to get there for the 7am time slot. I arrive to be told that this PF’s trainer “quit last week” and they “have no trainer right now”. Are you serious?!? I asked the guy at the front desk why these slots are still available for people to book and he said they “must not have been removed yet”. Well, obviously. He could not tell me when they’d have a new trainer or how I’d be informed as to when they got a new one. This was pretty infuriating. Last I checked, these slots are still available for people to book, but nobody is actually running these classes. This is incredibly frustrating because those classes are a part of what I pay for in my membership, but they are not truly currently available! Additionally, I agree on the women’s restroom - it needs some more attention, ASAP. I also think a map of the gym and what and where each piece of equipment is would be useful. I know there are instructions and explanations on each piece of equipment, but having some sort of map with explanations would allow you to better plan out your time at the gym…instead of checking out each piece of equipment individually while people are crowding the area using other equipment around you. If I don’t start to see some changes here soon, I may start traveling farther to the other PF locations that are spoken of more highly on the reviews here.

I really wanted to sign up for this gym. I went in yesterday evening and today during the day to check the location out. The staff was very friendly, and the location seemed to have what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the temperature in this location is HOT and humid. It felt like high mid to high 70s, and clammy, even when the gym was not at full capacity. I talked to a gym member, who told me this has been an ongoing issue every summer, and that sometimes temperature go even higher. So there seems to be an ongoing temperature regulation issue that has not been properly addressed, despite regular visits by the air conditioning company. When I checked the thermostat, it showed "AC leak alert". High temperature/humidity inside a gym facility is not fair or healthy for paying members, nor for the people who work there. There are no visible ceiling fans either, which would have at least helped in terms of air circulation. "Appropriate temperature, humidity and air circulation levels should be maintained in the fitness floor area. The following levels are recommended: Temperature: 68 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit." - ACSM's Health/Fitness Facility Standards and Guidelines.

Edit a year later: Over my 1-2 year membership, a couple more problems have come up. The AC in this place can be terrible in the summer. Simply kept too warm and not dehumidifying. My main complaint is juts how poorly maintained the cardio equipment is. At times it feels like 1/4 treadmills are simply broken and out of commission. And half of the "working" ones are falling apart and squeak/make noise/shake. They have 4 stair climbers and only 1 was working today - buttons on the handles broken off and the machine itself falling apart as well.

Cleanliness issues remain. The water fountains are dirty (the nozzles are nasty and need to be cleaned). Still wish they would go with wetwipes instead of dry paper and bottles. Very common for a towel dispenser to be empty or flat out broken. I've definitely noticed some more general machine cleaning effort in the staff though - everyone is very pleasant btw. Small nitpick, but the lights in the ab area are 3 different types of bulbs and they just replaced some (that were out for several months) with cool blue ones that make the space feel gross.

It’s fine. Not good, not bad, just fine. But it could be a lot better with a few layout changes and some better cleaning systems.

As many have already complained about, the weight area is way too crowded and poorly laid out. 5 benches is just not enough and it’s always a hassle to find space, either for a bench or to do dumbbell workouts alongside. Too many machines crowded around this area too. The 30-minute workout zone is oversized and underused.

If you love cardio machines they have plenty. Again, poorly laid out. You could axe half of the machines and meet capacity fine, giving over that area to weights instead which sorely need the space.

The place is generally clean enough, but worn down. Lockers are janky and sorta gross. Equipment overall is the typical PF weird and sort of basic/limiting. I realllllly wish they would replace the paper roll + spray bottle with just a gallon of wet wipes. This is much faster to use and deal with and clean better.

Overall fine (paying just $10 a month doesn’t warrant a lot of room to complain) but a few tweaks to the layout would make this a much much better gym - it has...

I’ve had to consult with an attorney just on principle for a situation that has occurred to me over utilization of the premises the same way I do every other day for years without incident! The area manager Destiny Aponte told me not to worry we will get it all sorted out, and was incredibly nice and understanding, and that I deserved better than what transpired between a front desk staffer, location manager & myself upon entering the gym with my workout partner on Tuesday Nov 2, even he was shocked & thought how can they even do this without having had pointed out any kind of issue at the time it supposedly transpired? Since speaking to the area manager who assured me not to worry on Tuesday Nov 2, I’ve left 3 follow up voicemails over consecutive days, and an email, and one final voicemail today prior to taking the next logical steps to get my membership re-instated…and I’m realizing, at this point, I’m actually being ghosted instead of what should be a simple professional courtesy and an apology for the misunderstanding by their staff for both the emotional stress and the detriment to my health routine it’s caused. The lack of communication with me to resolve this satisfactorily & due to the nature of my personal story, living with a disability, being from a marginalized group, I believe it’s important to share stories of injustice, especially when a large corporation prided in acceptance and Non-Judgement is practicing the antithesis of its mission statement towards one of its members, It’s going to be a weight off my shoulders to share my story & make sure that how I was treated, degraded, publicly humiliated & penalized doesn’t happen to anyone else. Imagine, all I wanted was to get my back routine in, now I have to become...
