I wish i could get my hair cut here every time! But unfortunately I am only here for a weeks meeting on business Due to lack of time before travelling, I didn't get the chance to get done in the UK I think this was my best barber shop experience ever (and that's quite a long time for me!) Hair cut Eyebrows trimmed Back of neck shaved Hot towel on head And all very nicely done If I come back to visit New York, I'll make sure I'm due for a barbers visit

Asked the barber to only thin the top and not cut length. He agrees and says he is going to use special scissors. Before I can stop him he cuts 1.5 in off the front and doesn’t thin. When I asked he said this was thinning I said I don’t want length and he then said he had to even it out. Also doesn’t know how to blend a fade.

Great place for a cut with a barber (and owner) who knows how to make a great experience. I don't usually leave reviews but I often struggle finding a barber who can provide a cut of good quality and specifically the owner, Boris (closest to the window/register), has never failed and makes getting a cut something to look forward to. Great experience overall.

Addressing the negative reviews, specifically the most recent by (who is flat out being rude and clearly overexaggerating on their judgmental comments), this is never the experience I've had whether I'm waiting and observing or in the middle of a cut. It couldn't be more off, and I highly encourage anyone reading these to make a decision (as I did) to ignore those comments and see for yourself. I'm always positively greeted and feel I'm truly valued as a customer.

Boris is always flexible when work gets in the way of an appointment and I need to move things around, has even stayed late on a few different occasions which I never ask for. He is always very friendly, polite, and accommodating. That has always been the case beginning with my first cut 2 months ago after relocating to the neighborhood. I've been to multiple barbers in the area and this is by far my favorite and will continue to be so.

I've always seen positive reactions from others getting their cut here as well and have no reason to agree with the...

First off, never go to Manhattan Cut Barbershop. I don't usually get my haircut in NYC but I wasn't gonna have a chance to anywhere else. Manhattan Cut did a horrible job and the guy acted like he could cut my hair but it became obvious he had no idea what he was doing.

So I searched for another place and found Hells Kitchen Barbers. This place SAVED my hair and did a great job fixing what he messed up. Steve the owner cut my hair, he took his time and clearly knew what he was doing. He's been cutting hair for over 15 years and when you see your haircut you'll believe.

If you're unsure about where to go in this large city I promise you won't be disappointed with this place. I like my haircut a certain way and they know just how to...

David, who I suppose is currently the only barber at this location, did not listen to my requests multiple times: he asked if I wanted product in my hair, I said no, and then he put gobs of product in anyway; he brought the fade waaaaay higher than he should have and than I asked for; he asked if I wanted my mustache trimmed, I said no and that it’s a personal thing I prefer taking care of myself, he then proceeded to trim my mustache; he ended up taking off significantly more off the top than I asked for and basically buzzed off the back of my head because he had trimmed a cowlicked area too short. Never going back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone- one of the worst haircut experiences I’ve had in my thirteen years of living...
