MakiMaki Sushi - 1 NY Plaza — Restaurant in New York

I seriously do not know how this place has such good reviews. I love sushi and I will tolerate a lot. But the taste of sushi from this place was flat out disgusting. The worst I’ve had in a long time if ever. I was charged $30 for two simple rolls that were dry, the rice was peeling off, and the taste of the fish was just awful. They put a bunch of lettuce into a simple salmon roll that was sticking out and making the roll look like a little sea urchin. What?? I’ve honestly never seen anything so bad so horribly prepared. Maybe I’ve been just spoiled by other options in the area. Oh and they were out of soup I ordered so they gave me a substitute and it all completely spilled out of the container. For gods sake, please invest into soup containers that are leak proof. Somehow every other sushi place in the area seems to be...
