Can you polish this review I did for IndiCo Coffee Co.
UPDATE THE OWNER JUST ME AND MY KID!!!
Our ORDER: Iced Vanilla Latte with a BABYccino and a pistachio saffron latte with oat milk
So I didn’t even know this place existed at all until my kid’s mother had mentioned it! So we made our way downstairs through the apartment lobby right on 1st Avenue! This is honestly the best alternative for a cafe. Yes the Starbucks in the Dunkin’ Donuts honestly, I would prefer Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks any single day but (quick side note I currently see a random patron with a Dunkin’ Donuts ice beverage inside this establishment now….very disrespectful!) but anyways we had an amazing breakfast to start the day. My pistachio latte was amazing. Everything was just fresh. They don’t use chemical base flavoring. They use all natural flavoring. They glue their saffron locally that is just an amazing way to show a strong worth ethic and commitment to the community and business! My child’s drink was amazing and the vanilla latte is also great! Customer service is amazing and know this is a brand new location in this area on first Avenue, but this is a true competitor for the café scene. I was just told to have another location in Chelsea! Please the only person who came up to me in my child and we spoke for a little bit. That was an amazing customer service. Sister did a great job with this location.! Very clean and professional service!
So please support...
Read moreIndiCo Coffee is a pleasant cafe with plenty of seating in a fancy-ish interior. there are table, couches, and counter seats for those who are looking a nice place to eat and/or drink while working or socializing -- being antisocial lol. the menu here is pretty wide from coffee and tea options to baked eats to hot or cold meal options.
stopped by here for some afternoon caffeine. landed on one of their seasonal drinks: the Early Grey Matcha Latte (iced). the drinking was refreshing and used a good balance of Early Gray tea and matcha + (plus your choice of dairy for the latte part of the drink). I really liked this drink because you could taste the black tea notes of the Earl Grey which meets the earthy flavors of the Matcha and that gets smoothed out by the latte portion (i went with whole milk). overall, it's a good drink...though, adding a bit more sweetness to this drink would improve this drink and give it a little bit more rounded out flavor profile. yeah, you could add sugar etc, but it should really be done while the drink is being made so the sweetness is more composited into the drink versus sinking to the bottom of it if you added after it's already made.
service is pretty friendly and helpful. and my drink was made in about 5-10 minutes. would definitely stop here to try another one of their seasonal options or...
Read moreOn the corner of first Avenue and 59th street, this new coffee shop is a breath of fresh, aromatic air. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that every detail has been carefully considered — from the warm, inviting lighting to the perfectly curated playlist that hums gently in the background. The space is cosy without feeling cramped — a mix of soft seating, warm wood tones, and thoughtful decor that makes it just as suitable for catching up with a friend as it is for spending a quiet afternoon with a book. There’s a natural rhythm to the layout that encourages you to slow down, sip, and stay a while. But let’s talk about the coffee: exceptional. The menu offers a great selection — from expertly pulled espressos to unique seasonal specials, each drink is crafted with care and a clear passion for quality. Non-coffee drinkers aren’t left out either, with a variety of teas and house-made alternatives that go far beyond the usual. Pastries and light bites are equally well chosen — nothing feels like an afterthought. Each item complements the drinks and overall aesthetic: simple, elegant, and just indulgent enough. In a city full of rushed coffee counters and generic chains, this place stands out as something truly special. It’s not just a coffee shop — it’s a place you look forward to returning to. Highly...
