That the bathroom had not been cleaned in who knows how long, and that the hand dryer doesn't work, and there are no paper towels, set the tone for the meal. The onion rings and french fries were heated from frozen is certainly not a foreign concept. That the guacamole accompanying my colleague's quesadilla had obviously been dispensed from a wholesale container was the problem. Anyway, 4% added when you pay with plastic, and even for a stretch of town where there aren't many seated restaurants, trust you can do hella better than JS Perry's. It's good to know if you find yourself in the South Bronx (should you dare to roam these streets) that there's decent food here. I went here twice since I had something business related to do down here. The atmosphere of the diner is the major area that needs improvement but is pleasant. It's run by a very sweet Korean couple and the only thing better than the food is the service. My food came out SO fast. It was delicious and, more importantly, affordable.
