Teriyaki R Us – A Sauceless Saga in Sad Stir-Fry Let me begin by saying, I wanted to like Teriyaki R Us. I really did. But from the moment I walked in, it felt more like Teriyaki R “Why Us?” The ambience? Think nightclub meets cafeteria. The music was blaring so loud I half expected a fog machine and backup dancers to appear. When the employee tried to take my order, we ended up yelling at each other like we were arguing over a karaoke mic at 2 a.m. (Spoiler: No one was singing.) I started with an order of chicken fried dumplings—or rather, dumplings formerly known as chicken. These little guys were fried within an inch of their lives and completely devoid of flavor, moisture, or, shockingly, any identifiable chicken. It was like biting into a crunchy puff of confusion. And guess what? No dumpling dipping sauce. None. When I asked, I was told they don’t carry it. This is a dumpling crime and I’m considering filing a small claims case with the food court of law. Next up: the spicy chicken teriyaki with fried rice. “Spicy” is clearly open to interpretation, because I’ve had tap water with more kick. The chicken itself was passable, but the fried rice was on the dry side—like, “I-need-a-glass-of-water-and-a-prayer” dry. But oh, the teriyaki steak over white rice with mixed vegetables—this was the main event. I made one simple request: “Can you please put the vegetables in a separate container?” The answer? Sure! For the low, low price of two extra dollars. When I explained I wasn’t asking for extra vegetables, just for them to be exiled to a different container, the employee stood firm: separate container = extra charge. I couldn’t help but wonder—are the containers made of hand-blown glass? Lined with gold? Filled with regret? At that point, I was done. Between the lack of sauce, lack of flavor, and the abundance of side-eye for requesting basic food separation, I can honestly say: I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ever. For any reason. Unless your favorite seasoning is disappointment. One star for the effort, and because zero isn’t an option. “Food that feeds the soul, beauty that speaks volumes, and travel that tells a story always through the eyes of Italy Loves India.” — Alyson Savino

This is the best Japanese restaurant ever like the fact that this is my first time trying Japanese food and the food was a 10 out of 10. Also everyone was so nice and welcoming, if you want to try out the food I would highly recommend you to go and the dish I would recommend to you guys to get is the deluxe chicken bento with fried rice trust me you are going to love it 🤯❤️‍🔥😎

It’s good! The place is nice and clean. Sushi was good. Hopefully they expand more on their menu because this place has potential. Oh and the passion fruit lemonade was tasty too but a bit sweet. I just added more water and that fixed it 😊

The food was good but definitely not authentic. I can say it was worth it for the price and the customer service was NOT all there. I ordered a spicy shrimp bento box with the add on of chicken. For one I asked the lady if it can be separated and she said they don’t do that which doesn’t make sense because the difference in tastes. Then I asked for dumpling sauce for my dumplings that came with the order and the guy said they don’t have anymore. I then asked for spicy mayo he said he’d have to charge me a dollar. I asked if I can just have it because they don’t have the sauce that’s supposed to come with it he told me I can use the packets of soy sauce instead and if I wanted the spicy mayo it’s a dollar. Fast forward to me actually eating the food… BECAUSE it wasn’t separated all of my food was spicy, everything but the shrimp! It’s like they poured hot sauce on it because only the rice and the chicken which were placed on top of each other had spice but the shrimp which was placed on top of the chicken was not spicy at all. It could’ve been an error in ready the ticket but either way it’s not what I ordered so I was disappointed. Not to mention I was given 7 pieces of shrimp for a...

First off to all the one star reviews…give it a freaking break. The food is good. I haven’t gotten food poisoning from it and clearly none of the other majority five star reviews have either. So that’s leading me to believe you ate something else that day that got you sick. Doesn’t make sense how they’re serving up food to hundreds the same day you went but nobody experienced what you did. Real fishy there.

Anyways the food is good. I’ve had the power bowl, chicken and shrimp bowl, the deluxe bento box with chicken beef and shrimp, and the shrimp tempura roll with eel sauce (turn out there’s no eel lol). And the THAI MILK TEA is perfection. Literal perfection. Just the right amount of sweetness and you feel good drinking it vs getting a soda. 10/10 would recommend. Only thing I’d like to see added on Uber eats/DoorDash is the option for extra teriyaki sauce and or extra teriyaki sauce...
