I should start by saying I don't do reviews very often unless I feel very strongly about a place in either a positive or negative way because this is time consuming. But I felt compelled to take the time out of my day to write this one because of the great experience that more people oughta know about.
I should also preface that I'm not an adventurous person because I like what I like, but my friend is a different story (which is why we are great together), so I wasn't very inclined to walk into a place, like this one, that just had an opening banner and no reputation behind them. But i was with my adventurous friend (who happens to be a local), who liked JuiceTime's balloons and aesthetic enough to walk in while I pressured her to go to the ice cream spot next door because it was a place we knew well enough and could guarantee a good experience.
Since Juicetime is new, we didn't know the staff at all and they didnt know us at all. it was great that the service staff actually asked if she had allergies to make sure she was picking the right drink and getting appropriate samples even though we didn't actually have any allergies. It's not every day that a cashier just asks a customer about their allergies while they are ordering a drink because it is assumed that the customer knows themselves enough to make a decision, but it was really nice to see how much they cared to go through ingredients for us because, even though we don't have allergies, someone else might and it was pleasant to see the level of care provided.
My friend ordered the Avocado Nut drink and, when she mentioned her obsession with mango's, they had her sample the mango ice cream so she'd be a recurring customer. I tried some of her mango ice cream and it was delicious and creamy.
I liked that the cashier and Keiko started a conversation with us and asked for our opinion on the smoothie samples too. The smoothie sample was great. It had all kinds of berries and milk, but it wasn't too thick. It went down well.
I guess this creature of habit just found...
Read moreI walked past this place a few times and was always curious about their menu. So I stopped in, and even in the middle of winter Juice Time delivered! Turns out they have a lot more than just juice, and it was a really tasty.
Boyfriend and I got the Ibnbattotah and the VIP, which 10/10 would get again. The first consisted of 2 layers of basically strawberry 🍓 and mango 🥭 smoothies, topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled in strawberry sauce + fresh kiwis. It was a visual feast.
The VIP was creamy avocado milk topped with pomegranate seeds which was a surprising textual win! Add on the fresh fruit and it feels like a healthy snack.
We got to sample their mango soft serve which tasted really fresh and had a great consistency. Def gonna go back to try other flavors like their lotus and…uhh, snickers flavor!
Tl;dr great juice/smoothie spot in LES/Chinatown. This place will be a banger in...
Read moreWhile staying in Chinatown for the weekend, my husband and I were wandering around at 2 am, looking for sweets. We walked past Juice Time and noticed the sign outside said, “More Than Juice” so we went in and were pleasantly surprised!
They had a great selection of different flavors that fit whatever vibe you’re feeling. Everything on the menu looked amazing and it was hard to choose, but we went with the mixed takmeem, a Dubai chocolate covered strawberry, and a small grapefruit juice. The juice and the strawberry were very fresh and ripe!🍊🥤🍫🍓And the takmeem came out nice and hot. 🧇
The restaurant itself was very clean and full of bright colors and cute decorations. The man behind the counter, Kamal, was super helpful and friendly, hooking us up with some generous mango soft serve samples that were...
