I won't lie, I thought 5 stars looked pretty bogus. Turns out it's just only found by a happy few.
They serve French style (I think?) Sandwiches but the portion was good and the guy (I forget his name, first time I've heard it) put so much attention into it. Kinda felt like a scene from Ratatouille, which I guess is fitting.
I've only had one sandwich so far – the veggie one I think – but it was REALLY solid. Very good. Usually veggie sandwiches are kinda cruddy and all the same. Not the case here.
To get a better idea of what he offered, I also got the French cheese puff snack – that didn't last more than 5 minutes and was a decent amount unlike normal American snack bags – and a drink with some sort of syrup flavoring. Was also yum. Also some sort of arrowhead-shaped lollipop that was also nice. I think all that was $25, definitely not $30. Great deal for the quality of what I got.
Very pleasantly surprised, I'll definitely go back, I'm craving it just writing this.
Apologies for my messy desk – but hopefully this proves I'm actually excited about this place and not some guy who already knew them.
Edit: It's Massire! Just saw the name in the description. If you're reading this,...
Read moreWhen this place opened few weeks back it already had 20+ 5 star reviews so they just faked the reviews (copied it from their other listing). Google should have removed them but it did not.
The croissants are really good (can be a miss sometimes) but the sandwiches for 20$ are totally not worth it. Please save yourself and spend the money somewhere else. And the wait time is ridiculous too. Not enough meat in the sandwich, not warm enough either.
Please reduce your prices (Even inflation doesn’t justify a bad 20$ sandwich) and stop copying reviews from another listing.
Edit (in response): 17.99+tax and tips comes to 20$+. Check out the pics and the reviews for yourself. Most of them are not for...
Read moreI ordered a Merguez Sandwich which was served on a fresh and flavorful baguette. The baguette was a little on the hard side which is fine for a metric of authenticity but a mild irritation to eat. The sandwich has a tangy and flavorful red salsa along with fresh arugula. The french fries are a nice touch and add substance to the sandwich and the Merguez was nice and spicy. Overall a very good sandwich and one I had avoided for a while due to some sticker shock (this sandwich is $17 but others are very modestly priced). I definitely thought it was worth the price and regarded it as a nice treat. My wife goes here frequently and is a big fan of the french onion soup and various other...
