Louie's — Restaurant in New York

ANOTHER GREAT, GREAT EXPERIENCE ! This time I called Louie's Pizzeria & Restaurant and spoke again to the wonderful owner Louie and ordered our meal. We requested that it would be delivered.. Unfortunately our elevator is now out of order and the friendly young man , Manny ( hope I spelled his name correctly ) had to walk up to the 6th floor , carrying a lot. of packages. He came up quickly .and handed me the packages .. Our dinner was outstanding ! I forgot how plentiful each item is . We have enough leftovers to give us another delicious meal. I want to thank the owner for his patience and generosity . He is a keeper !

First Review . We live not far from this restaurant and can just walk here. . Somehow we had never cme here before .This evening was our first time . Here is our report card of this restaurant .

REPORT CARD

Atmosphere: Comfortable seating and very clean. A+++

Staff : The owner is awesome! He is so very, very friendly and efficient . He was at the front counter , taking the orders . We were also helped by a really nice staff person named Manny. A+++

Meal : Unbelievably huge servings of food .! The owner , Louie,actually told us that the items that we ordered were humongous . He was totally right ! We had to take half of each of them home. Couldn't eat it all . The Meatball Parmagiana Hero and the Giant Sausage Roll were really tasty ! We certainly have another dinner with these . . A+++ We definitely will eat here again or order a meal.

SECOND VISIT ( I won't be our last .)

Meal Loved the Giant Sausage Roll so much that I ordered it again and picked it up. It was scrumptious and enough for the two of us .. Guess we are addicted to this place, the tasty food and the wonderful owner ,...

There are not enough words to describe just how special this place is. I started coming here roughly 7 yrs ago, looking for broccoli/veggie pizzza... May seem Like a simple request but very few places do it well. Louie has perfected it. For the most part I've always ordered pizza, until a couple days ago. My friend and I visited and I ordered the salmon...he ordered the chicken parmesan. My salmon was #$%^& mind blowing. It was seasoned perfectly with a lite tomato sauce and came with strings beans that were so fresh, they must be growing behind the restaurant! The chicken parm...well... I was allowed to have a bird bite....and yes it was so delicious my friend would not shut up about it. It's a huge portion and and his greedy self was ready to eat all in one sitting. (It could easily feed 2-3) Besides the amazing food, everyone here is just so sweet. This is the type of place you come as a customer you leave as a friend .This is what local...

Found this place on Google after reading lots of great reviews. Never been to New York so this was the first stop after flying in. Apparently the owner knew we were tourists by the wide eyed looks on our faces! 🤣Immediately he says “Where are you guys from?” Then after a brief conversation about the menu (all while he was helping other customers, cutting pizzas, making boxes, answering phones, taking payment, etc.) he convinced us to order a whole Grandma pizza. This man is a 5 star multi-tasker! We sat down and didn’t wait too long before it was hot and freshly ready. The first bite was scorching hot but we simply could not put it down! The flavor was exquisite! Crispy on bottom, soft on top, light and flavorful toppings. It looks so simple but the flavors packed a punch! We ended up ordering a couple more slices to try other things and all were amazingly delicious! Thanks for the great food! Props to the cooks and owner who keep this...
