I am Peruvian and I am always looking for good Peruvian places where they could remind me of being in Peru with their food and I travelled all the way from Manhattan to this place to give it a try and I must say the idea of the place was good because there is no many Peruvian places which open early and for breakfast. Service was good and staff super friendly. The place is small though so it maybe crowded at times and don’t have many seats. Nevertheless the Peruvian breakfast need to improve. We asked for “pan con chicharron” and it was kinda dry , I would give it a 3/5. My husband asked for a “pan con lomito” and we could give it a 2/5 since it was tasteless. The “emolliente” was not good either. I hope the could improve because there are no many Peruvian breakfast places around so we need to encourage owners to open more places like this for the rest of the world to try our delicious Peruvian...

That being said, there is something about the food here that can't be compared with other cafes. The food is spectacular! The attention from the staff is friendly. Even the first time I went I felt like a regular. Maybe I'm biased because I love Peruvian food, but the Amercian style breakfast is also really good. Lastly, for being in New York, the prices are reasonable. You'll think so even more when you taste it. The quality of the food far exceeds the price you pay. I've been to cafes as far as Milan and London to Bennington, Nebraska. Trust me...eat here once, and you'll want...
