Terrible place.
Came here for the ten dollar all-day special. Given the priciness of nearby places this was a refuge.
Right off the bat, my plate was dirty. It had a piece of lint on it and was heavily (permanently) scuffed and scratched. Their water glasses are plastic. (Really? Glass is not particularly expensive and you only need a few dozen of them.) The replacement plate was heavily scuffed, giving the impression it was caked in soap residue.
The food was mediocre. Nothing special. I got the pesto and it was very standard fare. Probably best described as Olive Garden-esque. Included bread was dry and tough.
The special was low-priced but also low-quality. Their other items are more expensive—closer to the prices at other restaurants.
Ambience is non-existent. It feels like a hollow, run-down, lonely joint that is not particularly well-maintained. Where is the respect for the place?
They refused to run my card for the ten dollar lunch special because they said they do not run them for purchases under ten dollars. Thing is, with tax it would be...
Read moreVisited this restaurant with friends on a busy Saturday evening. The atmosphere felt welcoming and spacious. We appreciated the prompt seating despite the crowd. Our server recommended the Risotto ai Funghi and Lasagna al Forno. Both dishes impressed us with their rich flavors and generous portions.
The wine selection complemented our meals well. We chose a Chianti that paired perfectly with the pasta. The staff remained attentive throughout, ensuring our glasses stayed full and our needs were met.
Dessert was a highlight. We shared a Tiramisu and Cannoli. Both were fresh and satisfying, rounding off our meal nicely.
The only downside was the noise level, which made conversation challenging at times. Despite this, the overall experience was positive. The combination of quality food and attentive service makes this restaurant a solid choice for Italian cuisine lovers. Consider visiting during off-peak hours for a quieter...
Read moreOrdered the lunch lasagna which is advertised as $17.95 and a beer. When it arrived at the table, I was shocked at how different it looked. It wasn’t your typical layers of lasagna, instead it was flat noodles under a thick layer of melted mozzarella cheese. I love cheese but this was way too much. I ended up peeling the mozzarella off so I could just eat the noodles. I don’t eat a lot of food but this was definitely just a snack. Once the bill arrived I was once again shocked, but this time at the price. On the bill it said 18+8 = 26+2 = 28+4 = 32. First of all, if you want to charge $18, advertise $18 on the lunch menu and not $17.95. I was then confused on where the additional $4 was going towards. I called the waiter over and asked what the additional $4 is and he said it’s tip. Seriously???! Waiters are now deciding how much money...
