Very busy pizza small place at lunch hour eventhough it doesn't look like much from the outside. Short waiting time until your pizza is reheated and it's a first order then pay system. Different pizza's available but also calzone's. First time in my life eating a calzone. Their calzone is salty and very cheese and so good. As a beginner I only asked for the calzone, but luckilly the pizza makers (you sensse that they are in the business for a long time) gave me a little jar of salsa too. That's the way to eat calzone. Cheap good food.

This is a small place but has plenty of character! We got lucky with grabbing a couple of seats! The slices were huge and the pizza was nice! It’s good value for money for what you get! Some lady did try to steal their tip jar whilst we were there, so not sure if that’s a reflection of the area or just what can happen in NY. The staff luckily handled it with dignity, maintaining their professionalism whilst standing firm which we were impressed with.

Pizza, average. If your visiting and want a NY pizza that screams NY I had better luck with Picasso's Pizza the night prior. Visiting from another state and the pizza reminded me of Sbarros Mall pizza. Not bad, but good pizza is around the corner.

This is a late review. I was there about 8 years ago when I was 60 and have been thinking about this place ever since. I had a slice of plain cheese pizza. It slowly dawned on me as I ate it, that "this is good pizza," no, "this is Really good pizza," no, that's not it either, " whoa, this is the best pizza I have Ever had." Dang. I specifically recall asking myself, "Why am I just now, at the advanced age of 60, finding such great pizza?" I was a little P.O.ed! The crust was somehow chewy and crusty at the same time. Mystical. There was JUST the right amount of sauce and cheese. Everything was in perfect balance, the crust, cheese, and wonderful sauce. No one ingredient drowned out the other and no ingredient was skimpy. It was almost a religious experience. Perrrfect. Who knows? Maybe I just walked in on a lucky day. Maybe the planets were lined up just so. Maybe I was just hungry and concrete might have tasted good. I'll never know. I was just visiting the City and never got back to Majestic Pizza. I live in Florida and am so jealous of you New Yorkers who live or work near this place. I guess I'll give it 5 stars. And...

I expected a different flavor, something that said New York, crust, sauce, something...just wasn't there. This was simply a large slice of pizza you can get from any pizza joint. It has decent reviews but definitely nothing to write home about! I had a beef/tomato something and wife had meat lovers. Mine was barely warm from their oven. The garlic knots were ok at best...definitely had better. Most definitely an average place. Obviously from the reviews, other people have had better experiences...I definitely...
