This is the kosher chipotle I've been waiting for all my life. Went here for dinner, about 2 weeks since this place opened. Line was out the door and down the block which should tell you how popular this place is currently. Took about 45 min to get food so not a quick stop, despite the staff working efficiently, but we were not let down. The food here was way above expectations. They don't have a giant menu, they do a few things and do them very well (the way it should be!). We ordered the carnitas (beef & duck) burrito, chicken taquitos and birra (beef & lamb) tacos which were made in front of us. The portions are reasonably large and filling with very fresh ingredients. Prices are decent for NYC kosher. All the homemade side sauces were excellent as well. The only downside here (aside from the wait which will hopefully subside eventually) is the insufficient space for sitting - currently just a bar and stools. Hopefully they decide to add outdoor seating at a minimum or a better location, but we took our food to central park which made for a nice picnic in good weather.

I was visiting New York from Chicago and was on the hunt for some quick Kosher food to eat before I went to see a Broadway show. This place fit the bill. Food was ready fairly quickly and it was relatively affordable, depending on what you ordered. I found the tacos to be a good bang for your buck. The tacos were customizable and you are able to choose your sauce and toppings.

The first time I came here, I got great food and I loved it. The second time was so bad I never want to buy from here again. Especially spending $30 on refrigerator-cold dishes. This is probably one of the top 5 worst dishes I’ve ever had. The thing below they called “cheese” I sent this image to ten people to guess what was in it and no one guessed cheese. It tasted bad

I walked in thinking I was about to be given the worst of my life. It was a guy in apron with a wink behind him handing a menu with 100 items on it. The place was a quick take out place of almost 7 stores combined into one. I ordered a chicken sandwich (a little pricy but pricey is the standard) chicken was large and crisp, perfectly cooked. It almost looked like fish from a fish and chips shop. Combined with lettuce and tomato the bread was great too. Filling and tasty food- I got what I came for- something fast and simple. It was good but then again I might have just gotten lucky from the million items from...

Very good! Best part is that everything they serve is good. They don’t serve a million items like other kosher restaurants, and don’t have burgers and hotdogs and sushi and schnitzel. They have a few types of Mexican style meats that they make really well and leave out the rest. Meat was so good I didn’t even use the sauce I took (though I would have preferred the beef slightly more buttery in texture, it was a little bit rough). The French fries were also surprisingly awesome. Just FYI it’s small with very little seating, but I...
