Nobody Told Me — Restaurant in New York

I believe this is my first review ever but well worth it. I have been following the owners of Nobody Told Me UWS for years. When I heard they were creating the DUMBO location, I made sure I was first in line. Not only is the space absurdly beautiful (great for a party or event), but the quality of food, and the unbelievable good drinks... I don't even know what to say. Too many drinks made me speechless.

Couple favorites that stood out to my wife and me: Light + Glass: A vodka/sake blend w/ lychee... I'm still tasting this How to start a fire: Spicy Marg All martinis - especially remember their homemade olive brine and the passionfruit

Food: Everything Oysters were so fresh Charcuterie board was nutttts Arancini were out of this world Of course their burger is still one of the best in the city And somehow they made caviar approachable.

not only the BEST gluten free chicken tenders i’ve ever experienced in my life happened this weekend (dedicated sunday fried chicken menu)

but ..

EPIC gluten free baja style fish taco happened today.

both dishes: perfect crunch super juicy zesty sauce / dip snap worthy presentation flavor and smiles

damn. just good.

it’s amazing how great people make a place.

love the vibe, love the music. first pass impressions — solid. fun cocktail menu and biodynamic wines on list! GF options labeled on menu!

Stopped in during happy hour and grabbed a seat right at the bar—great atmosphere and solid service. The bartenders were super friendly and attentive. We ordered a couple of espresso martinis and some beers. One nice touch: the bartender noticed my beer was flat before I even took a sip and replaced it right away. Really appreciated that level of attentiveness.

We also ordered a happy hour chicken sandwich that unfortunately never made it out. We were ready to head out by then, so we didn’t ask for another—just had it taken off the bill. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning.
