Food is good but expensive for what it is... 5.50 for a ring ding? That’s a bit much- even if it’s delicious- should be on par with cupcakes next door at Sprinkles (4.00). Sadly, the service is pretty bad. My razor-sharp companion noted several eye-rolls from the woman behind the counter when we made a very polite and reasonable request. So shortsighted! Hate your job? Do an amazing job and someone will poach you to a better job soon enough- it happens all the time! Do a lousy job and you just make everyone including yourself miserable.

I just encountered one of the workers walk out of the public restroom without washing his hands and then walk into Olives and start preparing food. I’ve never eaten here. I don’t think I ever will. That was gross.

One of the best new additions to the City from the legends on Prince St. food has always been top notch. Now the coffee and beer offerings have very few competitors in town. Just a fun Tribeca hang off the River

The food's fine, the drinks are ok - but man a) are they overpriced b) is one of the servers' communication style downright horrible. The young folk working at that place is just wonderful - sweet and friendly, what have you; yet, the most senior lady (might be the manager or the owner even?) is pretty much hostile in how she talks to you - not a one-time thing, either. They're all wearing masks and this is where using one's voice comes in, which she's very much capable of in my experience. no "you're welcome", no "sure", no "there you are/go", no nothing, just stands there and stares at you projecting all kinds of inexplicable hostility whilst taking your order; like, what on earth is your problem?? every time I see she's there, I avoid the place as it seriously seems like she doesn't want my business - she would've made a teeny effort to connect with them clients, otherwise. Jeez. Don't act like you're too good for those you talk to - do they not deserve the simplest signs of 'minimal friendliness'? Again, not a one-time thing with her. A constant. Ugh. not coming back. Get some manners, this...

Whoa! We -- my 9-year-old GRL and me -- love love love this place! We were riding our bikes around lower Manhattan over the weekend and were thrilled to find Olive's up and running, serving up their tastier than anything/ever sandwiches served by a dude with an awesome appreciation of early punk (as I was wearing a DK T-shirt and the guy advised my daughter to raid my music collection every chance she got 🤙)! She ate the Ahi and I ate the Shiitake sandwiches and, man, oh...
