A Private Museum in New York

My husband and I took a private tour of the Met earlier this month, and we absolutely LOVED the experience. Our guide, Kari Logan was phenomenally brilliant, patient and engaging. He self curated our tour just for us based on interests. Kari has such a wealth of information on the history of the museum itself, as well as the gorgeous collections within the museum. I loved the one on one experience. Not one of my questions went unanswered. No matter the piece, he was able to tell me the history, craftsmanship techniques used, and the history of the artist. Kari was so friendly and patient - I really appreciated his attention to detail to everything. I have never learned so much or enjoyed a tour ever as much as I enjoyed my experience with Kari. My husband is used to me dragging him to museums but usually dislikes tours. Kari was a whole new experience for him, and he’s already wanting to book another tour with Kari specifically next time we are in New York. If we could have stayed all day, we absolutely would have. Regardless if you’re an art lover or become a new appreciator - a private tour is absolutely the way to go. Kari met us promptly at the door with tickets in hand. Bypassed the lines and whisked us a way on an adventure just for us. I could ask all my questions and never felt dumb or judged for any of them, and never once did we feel rushed through or like we were on a schedule. I highly highly recommend a private tour with Kari Logan. I will be recommending to all my friends and family and we will absolutely return for another private tour with him. This was not my first visit to the Met; however, it was my absolute favorite experience at the Met. I am a museum junkie, and it lands in top 5 museum experiences ever.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a private tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Private Museum Tours, and it was genuinely the most enjoyable and informative museum experience I’ve ever had. From the moment the tour began, our guide’s deep knowledge and passion for art and history were clear. She brought each exhibit to life, sharing stories and insights that made the artwork feel both accessible and intriguing. Rather than just listing off facts, she engaged us with fascinating details that offered a fresh perspective on pieces I thought I already knew well. What made the experience truly exceptional was how fun and interactive it was. Our guide had a great sense of humor and an ability to make even complex art concepts easy to understand and appreciate. She encouraged questions and were incredibly patient, always happy to dive deeper into any topic we were interested in. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is undeniably impressive on its own, but having an expert guide made a world of difference. I left not only with a greater appreciation for the art but also with memorable stories and insights that I wouldn’t have gotten on my own. If you’re looking to deepen your understanding of the Met and have a genuinely enjoyable experience, I can’t recommend Private Museum Tours enough. It’s a must for anyone wanting a deeper, more meaningful visit to the museum.

This past Wednesday, I had the immense privilege of experiencing a private tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, led by the incomparable Maria Yoon, while it was closed to the public. To say it was remarkable would be an understatement—it was a truly unforgettable, luxurious experience that I cannot recommend highly enough to art enthusiasts and collectors visiting New York.

Maria Yoon was a consummate professional, exuding both warmth and extraordinary expertise. Her knowledge of the art, artifacts, and the museum itself was nothing short of astounding. Maria’s insights went far beyond the standard narrative, offering deep, thought-provoking interpretations that enriched our understanding of each piece.

What made the tour truly magical were the personal anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories Maria shared about the artists and their works. Her passion for the art was palpable and infectious, adding an emotional depth to the experience that I will carry with me for years to come.

This private tour was more than just an opportunity to view masterpieces; it was an intimate journey through history and creativity, curated by someone with a true love for her craft. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking a deeper, more personal connection to the world of art. It was, simply put, an unparalleled way to...
