Original Roma Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I recently tried the pizza at Roma Pizza and overall, I found it to be just okay. However, I did notice that they charged an extra 25 cents per slice before tax which wasn't clearly mentioned on their menu. I would advise others to double-check their bill before paying to avoid any surprises. Despite the average quality of the pizza, I still appreciate the convenience of the location and would consider giving Roma Pizza another try in the future.

Update: In light of the response from the business, I would like to provide additional clarification regarding my recent experience. Specifically, I ordered two pepperoni slices and was charged a total of $8.71, which included a post-purchase sales tax (8.875% for NYS) applied to the original cost of $8.00 ($4.00 per slice). However, the menu listed the price for each single slice with one topping as $3.75, thus indicating that the total cost for two slices with tax should have been $8.17. Not only did I get charged an extra 50 cents, but I got taxed on that additional upcharge. It is disappointing that the business did not acknowledge their error and instead attempted...

I’m on the hunt for the best regular slice on the Upper East side. If a perfect regular slice is Margot Robbie, the slice from Original Roma Pizza is Sommer Ray. Good after a drunk night out, but underwhelming sober.

Out of 10, I’d give their plain slice a 7.2. However, the pasta slice was awesome!

The sauce on the regular slice either had too sweet tomatoes, or added sugar - the sweetness of the sauce takes away from the salt. The crust wasn’t crispy, but was of fair thinness.

Food is good but they are racist. I ordered yesterday they attended everyone while my food sat in its bag getting cold for a good 10 minutes after me standing there. After I get up to ask how long she goes to my bag as if it wasn’t there for quite sometime. The guy tells me it doesn’t cook in 5 minutes I ordered 25 minutes ago to have my food sitting in its bag they knew because she went straight to the bag that has been there!
