Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in New York

The delivery driver was awful. He called me that he was downstairs and that there was no parking, mind you I asked to deliver at my door. I get downstairs and I don’t see him. I call him back 3 times and even text him and I get no response for 6 mins. He then calls me yelling at me that he’s been standing in the lobby for 10 minutes. I don’t even have a lobby. I am expressing to him he’s in the wrong location and he is still yelling at me. So he was at the wrong location arguing and yelling at me for a whole 10 minutes before he realized he was wrong. Then gets to me and is beeping his horn and yelling at me to come and get my pizza. He then got out and started yelling at me until he saw my husband standing outside with me and then tried to apologize while laughing. To top it all off, I called the store and waited on hold for a whole 20 minutes waiting for a manger to answer and no one ever did. If I could give 0 stars I would because this was the worst delivery experience of my life. My poor kids had to wait 20 extra minutes to get cold pizza because the driver doesn’t have a sense...

If i could give this place a negative review I would. Spent $50 on pizza. Paid $5.99 for delivery to have the delivery driver ask me to go downstairs to the front of the building to pick up the pizza. Then he says he has a bad ankle so can’t walk up the stairs. I explain i have a child i can’t leave alone. He doesn’t care tells me he’s going to go back to the store and hangs up on me. I call the store and they don’t help either. Telling me that they don’t deliver for safety issues. So why am i being charged $6 for a delivery that never happens. They were both pretty nasty. They also never delivered the pizza and i still got charged. Save yourself the time they won’t bring it up to you. Also called customer service and they basically can’t do anything for you either so now will have to dispute with my bank. Oh and still no pizza after all of that smh- go to another papa John’s. Two hours after placing my order my driver finally arrive high as a kite. I went downstairs to find the papa john's driver slumped over and unresponsive to the many taps on his window. I saw him breath so I knew he wasn't dead. I called Papa Johns to tell them their driver was passed out. They said he "seemed sleepy" when he came in today. They managed to wake him up by calling him on the other line. I went back downstairs and watched the driver stumble his way to the front door of my building. When he arrived he did not have change, but promised to come back with it..since that was NOT going to happen I said forget it. Getting pizza should not be this hard. I had to help the driver put the pizza back in the bag because he could hardly stand up straight. On a serious note...you have a driver clearly high but let him make deliveries. I regret not calling the cops to get him...
