Let my first say, this is a long review but I want to be honest with what we got, and my dietary restriction. If you don't have time for the whole review, it boils down to....HUGE WASTE OF MONEY. So my husband and I were craving pasta so I looked up the nearest pasta restaurant with gluten free pasta (I have celiac). Unfortunately this was it. We had never been and were excited to try. We got there and got seated relatively quickly (maybe 15 minutes). It was my husband, my 15 month old, and myself. We were seated right in front of the kitchen so it was incredibly busy with the wait staff coming and going, and there was not a lot of room to move about. They didn't have any kids menus printed, they didn't tell us that they just didn't give us anything so I had to ask the front waitresses (as ours was in an out all night, didn't even bring us our food). They then told me verbally and I just picked something random so I wouldnt forget it. When the waitress came to take our order she knew they had gluten free pasta, but wasn't 100% on what else was gluten free. She offered to check and as it happens only like 3 items on the menu are gluten free due to other ingredients (like non gluten free meatballs/meat sauce). So if you are gluten free, THIS WOULD NOT BE MY FIRST CHOICE. My husband and I ordered, I ended up getting gluten free pasta (they only have 1 kind, so no spaghetti for me), in a cream based sauce with shrimp. My son's food came out first, a good 15min before ours (which if you have kids, you know he was done eating before we ever took a bite) The food took forever to get to our table, and was sitting in the window to the kitchen for at least 5 minutes (we were sitting right there so I was watching it). My son was bored out of his mind by that point and was running back and forth around our table. When we got the food, mine was crunchy still (gluten free pasta cooks at a different rate than typical pasta, if you don't know how to cook it, it's not great). Mine was also spicy (when we asked for it not to be), the shrimp were cut in pieces (I probably only got like 3 shrimp total), and they weren't cleaned (shrimp poop). My husband got pasta in Vodka sauce, he said it was mediocre. He added a meatball as well (only one, for $5!!). We also got garlic bread (my husband said it was the best thing there by far), and broccoli (that ended up being SUPER undercooked). So 3 meals, plus 3 sides, and 3 drinks (one of which was bottled water at $8!), was OVER $100 with the tip!! This place is SO overpriced, please, please don't waste your money. It is ANYTHING but authentic. If you have time, Leo's is 10min away and MILES better. We almost went there, but wanted to try something different. Our mistake!! I ended up getting a Jersey Mike's sandwich on the way out. DON'T WASTE...

Just to start off. This was our first time here after wanting to come here for months , so I was excited to arrive. our waitress Sarah was great super friendly and responsive. Now to why 2 star review. The only thing stopping me from putting 1 star was my wife’s shrimp scampi, the calamari and Sarahs service. We ordered calamari, shrimp scampi and spicy rigatoni (for me) and garlic bread . They served my rigatoni and bread almost 7 minutes before my wife and when it came it looked pale and like it had been sitting for atleast 20 minutes (pasta doesn’t just rapidly cool down especially not with piping hot sauce) . The bread was also cold and looked like it was sitting a while. I asked the expeditor (Older Italian gentleman working the pass and singing along to Frank Sinatra songs.) to please make another one because it was cold. He took the plate went to the kitchen which is next where we were sitting and said with an attitude “The Guys saying the food is cold” like I was complaining and the food was hot. When my wife’s pasta came it was shiny and smoke coming from plate. They brought back my dish couple mins after wife’s and the pasta was shiny but yet again room temp at most. So they took the past I sent back put sauce and re-served. This place is PRICEY, and I was expecting way better service and food, I’m extremely disappointed, ruined my night. To add insult to injury the Italian gentleman never apologized and seemed super annoyed at first request to change pasta so I didn’t ask again. I will never eat here again after this experience , the food was good but it wasn’t...

We got there and luckily they had a couple open spots at the bar - so no wait. The bartender was super nice and was definitely on top of his game.

We looked over the menu and they had a pretty basic menu, which was fine. However, the prices seemed to be way up there for pretty basic tomato sauce-type meals.

The presentation was really nice. My spaghetti and meatball came out completely covered in really fine shavings of parmesean. It looked like a lot, but wasn't overpowering. Then a basil leaf to top it off as a garnish.

I will say I really enjoyed my meatball though. Decently sized, but I felt it should have been 2 for the price. It said it was supposed to be spicy, but definitely wasn't. The pasta sauce for the spaghetti was on the bland side for my preferences. Seemed fresh and all, just lacking the seasoning that I went in expecting. My wife's sauce seemed more flavorful and slightly richer. She got the meatball parm meal.

There were some small hiccups in the kitchen/cold station, which is pretty much attached to the bar. The manager? seemed like the type to needlessly micromanage. (There was a spill that was literally being cleaned up right behind him, and he was like, "Can you get this cleaned up?") Other than that little bit of dinner entertainment everything else went smoothly.

I never had below half a glass of water, the checkout was easy and quick, and we were able to get out of there without having any issues. I would go back, if the prices were mor in line with what you got. But take this with a grain of salt. It could just be NYC...

Have to admit I was appalled by the treatment of employees at Parm. While there multiple employees cried openly due to the severe stress as DoorDashers stole food not belonging to them and dumped it on the street. I was unlucky enough to step in some. The people working there went above and beyond to help me after this and thanked me when I apologized for the way the dashers were treating them simply because nobody at fault would apologize but I am rating this restaurant low because clearly they are being treated like trash for plain Italian American food. It was ok, totally, but this is good you can make at home. Save your money and go to Nonnas, Lenny’s, Spumoni Gardens, Serafina’s, Lexington Pizza Parlor or any place off the street in Bensonhurt or learn to make Penne Vodka at home if you love their Rigatoni. Believe me it's not hard to make at home with marinara, chili flakes and heavy cream. You will get the same thing at the same price for larger proportions without seeing the cooks and security team pushed to tears and sobs. Maybe it was the day of the week but at the very least I wouldn’t want to return to this location on a Sunday. And to the bosses running this place it is not difficult to shut off DoorDash, which I’m sure you’re aware but have more interest in lining ur pockets. Treat your employees like human beings and your guests. Photo is of my brand new boot after employees helped me clean up. Thank you to the lovely workers here and I hope your employer learns your worth ❤️

I have been on a quest to find the best parm sandwich in the city, and through a recommendation I ended up here one Saturday afternoon. It is now my tradition to come here for lunch on Saturdays. The staff is SO FRIENDLY. Good luck finding a spot like that in the downtown area. The hostess knows me by name and so does the bartender. The food makes it to the table relatively fast whether I’m by myself at the bar or if they’re busy. The drink menu and food menu will give you enough reasons to repeat the visit to make sure you don’t miss out on menu items The garlic knots are amazing, the mozzarella sticks are well seasoned, not greasy and their tomato sauce is just a perfect balance to the other flavors. The fries are always crispy and the parm cheese adds the right amount of flavor to them The Mayo is fresh and made in house. Never a miss! The parm sandwiches are great but my favorite is the meatball parm. The pastas are great. I did not expect this “bar” to make such great pasta. They’re very accommodating in case you want one of the spicy pastas but you want the spice level light. I once brought a group of 8 people, 2 children included and everyone loved the food. The best part is that the prices are very affordable so this makes for a good lunch or dinner if you’re in the area. It’s definitely a go because the environment, food and staff make you feel welcome… and that’s rare in a busy area like this.

Absolutely LOVED Parm in Little Italy. We got to sit outside in a beautiful NYC fall day, the waiter was incredibly attentive and amiable even though he was running back and forth from inside. The food was phenomenal. Let me just say, the marinara tasted like some chef spent three days hovered over a pot while it simmered stirring slowly the whole time. It was PERFECT! Tangy garden fresh tomatoes with a hint of caramelized sweetness and herbs, magnifico! We got the pizza knots as an appetizer, crispy buttered dough drizzled in melted butter and pizza spices that melted in your mouth with a soft chewy inside, dipped in that outstanding marinara. They were amazing and I highly recommend them. My wife and I split the Chicken Parmesan with a side of rigatoni as recommended by the waiter. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was a creamy red, seasoned to perfection. I would have been satisfied with the rigatoni alone, it was that good. But the accompanying Chicken Parmesan was the best I've ever had. Drizzled in more of their marinara, and topped with thinly sliced broiled mozzarella, it was crispy and moist and set off fireworks in my mouth. To anyone sitting on the fence about Parm's, DO IT! I know there are so many options in Little Italy, but you HAVE to go and try them out. Hands down the best Italian I have ever had. Love you guys!
