L Pen ‘n’ Coop in the Olly Olly Market in Chelsea describes themselves as the place “Where Italian Street Food Meets New York City Delicatessen” and that tagline could not be more fitting! They have a number of Porchetta and chicken based sandwiches and you know I had to get myself that Porchetta platter with 2 sides and a sauce. I was not disappointed — Seriously this is most delicious piece of meat you’re gonna taste, super flavorful and juicy — they even have a Porchetta salad. I’m gonna return soon for their Chicken dinner special which includes a full bird and 2 sides and 2 sauces for $30 because that chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, for real!

Cool contemporary food court type of setup here. I must have been in during an off-peak time, as the place was pretty empty with a few patrons eating and some guys shooting pool. The porcheta breakfast sandwich here is a killer - my stomach is still buzzing. Needs a bit of ketchup or spicy aioli souce for perfection. Will run you $15.

I am from the Philippines 🇵🇭 So as soon as I saw the porchetta, I had to try it. The guys who are helping me out there were very nice and pleasant. This area in Chelsea is really cool and a good spot to relax while having your food. It’s like a mini food court. Definitely good...
