The manager and servers have no idea what customer service is about. They served me a flank steak (one of the most expensive dish) in less than 5 min, so naturally it had no seasoning. To avoid returning the item, I asked for chimichurri sauce, which by the way, comes with the dish, and the server failed to provide. I asked for some more to give the expensive flank steak some taste. The server brings me more. When the check comes, I am charged for the chimichurri. When I complained, both servers lie stating I was informed of the extra cost. When I ask to speak to the manager, he and the servers state there could have been nothing wrong with the steak, since I ate it all. Because of that reason alone, I was obligated to pay for the chimichurri sauce. Therefore, instead of being grateful that I tried salvaging a bad plate, I was charged extra AND embarrassed in front of other customers for eating the flavorless plate. I paid the bill but definitely no tip. This place focuses more on money than customers. No regard for keeping customers, only $$$$$. Horrible manager who made things worse, and allowed the female server disrespect me and my elderly mother. Never again will I visit this place. I called to place a to go order, was passed to theee different people, finally placed the order. Bf wanted Tibica con carne, I wanted an avocado salad, HOWEVER… I wanted to add shrimp, or even steak. I was told I couldn’t because they “ didn’t have a price”. They said I’d have to get the “ whole shrimp plate “, I said ok, so maybe I’ll have that, what exactly is that. It was shrimp scampi with salad and rice. I said ok can we just grill the shrimp ( chef saves on making scampi sauce, resto saves on cost of sauce) and can I add avocado to the salad, I’ll pay for the avocado. Nope. Just no.I’d just gotten off work and we we’re hungry so I said fine. I’ll have avocado salad and eat some of the bfs meat. When we arrived to pick up, old Covid signs were still everywhere, outdoor dining still set up ( it was march 2nd and freezing, so no one outside) I walked in the door, it was a half hour before closing so not busy. Guy told me I’d have to go BACK OUTSIDE AND PICK UP AT THE WINDOW. I was three feet from the to-go desk. I said it’s right there!!!!! She asked my name and handed me the order. Never again. A very uncomfortable situation. My family likes to go there when ever it's someone's birthday, so last night we went to celebrate my sisters birthday and from the the get go it was just uncomfortable. First we had to stand in a corner because we had to wait to get seated it was 11 of us, that wasn't the problem. The problem began when they took us to the table and we where already seating down when a worker I'm guessing it was the manager asked us to move to another section because there was a party of 13 coming in not only that but they told us that we where gonna be divided and 4 of our party had to sit on another table. Mind you we got there first and waited to get the table. After that it was just uncomfortable I was trying to tell the guy that it wasn't fair we waited for the table with no complaints and when we finally got the table they wanted us to move. We got our food and just packed it to go we didn't even get the desserts for the birthday girl. We been going there for years but after this honestly we are just gonna stop going I've never felt so...
