I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Popeyes location on Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, Hall, NY, at approximately 9:00 PM on August 22, 2024.
As a local community member and a frequent customer of this location, I ordered a two-piece combo meal along with a drink. After making my purchase, I politely inquired with the cashier, Mona, if it would be possible to sample the frozen lemonade drink before committing to buy it. She abruptly responded, "No." Confused by the refusal, I asked again, as I believe a paying customer should have the option to try a drink before deciding to purchase it.
What followed was even more concerning. Another customer behind me asked the same question, yet Mona continued to be dismissive and rude to both of us, refusing to offer a sample and ultimately ignoring our requests altogether. Her behavior was highly unprofessional, inconsiderate, and demeaning. I strongly believe that if this incident had occurred at a different location or with a different customer, Mona may not have responded in such a manner.
This experience was deeply unsatisfactory. I have been a regular at this Popeyes, but this encounter with Mona has left a lasting negative impression. Her actions were not in line with the level of customer service I expect from Popeyes, nor do they reflect the welcoming atmosphere I am accustomed to at this location.
I urge you to address this issue and consider retraining Mona to improve her customer service skills. This will ensure that no other customers experience the same level of disregard and disrespect. I will not hesitate to escalate this complaint through the appropriate channels if necessary, as I believe that my concerns and those of other customers deserve to be heard and addressed.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and action to improve customer service at this location.
Sincerely, Rebecca mills 929•224•4402 This version maintains a professional tone while clearly conveying your concerns and...
Read moreI can't eat chicken anymore so I don't buy chicken products there. However, I am extremely pleased to report that their new and improved flounder sandwiches are fantastic. I've had two of them since they've made a reappearance on the menu and they blow the drek McDonald's is selling as a fish sandwich straight out of the water. I occasionally, by which I mean maybe three times a year will pick up a fillet of fish. They've been around since the flood I enjoyed them as a child and from time to time I will admit they're nice to have. Not sure whether I will want one more than once a year if they keep this item on the menu at Popeye's. Just saying. The only other item menus I buy here are the red beans and rice and sweet tea. Both are very good. Something doesn't look right about their macaroni and cheese. Not to say that it doesn't appear somewhat tasty something about that cheese reminds me of Velveeta and the amalgam of chemicals that come together to make that mac and cheese. I like my stuff authentic. Chemical cheese has a...
Read moreI purchased a ten piece chicken for $16. I asked for some side sauces to accompany my meal. The young Lady gave me #2 and I requested an additional sauce of another favor. She refused to give me #2. This young Lady and her counterpart working the front desk were both rude and dismissive. I spoke to the manager Victor and confirmed that NO customer should be spoken to in manner. 1. I'm a repeat customer. 2. I purchased #10 pieces of chicken and #3 sauces were clearly not enough. 3. The sauce may have cost 5 cents at the most. I tried to charge me for the sauce. Clearly 5 cents is not enough to insight argument with customers who have spent money with Popeyes. And repeat customers at that. I was very disappointed that I had to go through all this for an extra item of sauce. This location of Popeyes needs to understand the importance of customer service and neighborhood respect. I will NOT visit this...
