They’re a 24 hour spot, they have a deli open almost 24 hrs, and they’re also a mini market too because they have grocery store goods inside. They have a large variety when it comes to the menu (which I find awesome) and their food is pretty good. They (also, might I add) have a Hot Buffet that starts by noon till around 8/9 pm. They charge you by the pound for the hot buffet. Fresh salad and cold cuts too. The downside to this store is that even though some days they do have certain marked sales on specific items in the mini market section they’re still pretty overpriced, especially with the deli too (in my own personal opinion). I usually go there if it’s my last resort or I’m feeling hungry for something that I know they’ll make taste good and fresh. That’s why I rated it only 4 Stars. They also have a big selection when it comes to drinks. I also like to come to this store if any of the other local stores don’t have the specific drink I’m looking for because they usually have it stocked. Bring a bag to avoid bag fee...
Read moreSmall a bit tight, but it got everytbinh you need. I'm not talking just by a deli perspective which is the best in the Bronx in my opinion. But these guys have a miniature Supermarket that you can buy meat fresh poultry. Have a good Frozen section. And the hot food bar frequently has pernil, and short ribs. The guys are friendly fast and efficient. Even get a free bottle of water when you get a hero. The fact that this place has been around for about a million years also adds to his charm it's been in the neighborhood as a fixture for a long long time. And talk about convenient , it's right next to the downtown Buhre Ave 6 train station. The guys that run the place are great. Aside from the occasional "door holder" this place is tops!! If you feel like an old fashioned Italian hero get the Godmother. I replaced the Mortadella with prosciutto but that's just another way these guys are great don't charge any extra for a switcheroo. Bottom line if you like giod food and you want it fast and you wanted...
Read moreI went there on Saturday August 15, 2021 at about 7:30 pm., on the recommendation of a work colleague Looks kind of dumpy inside. It is cramped and the layout is terrible. I ordered one of their hot specialty sandwiches, the "Chicken Supreme" . They do have a vast selection. The sandwich consisted of a breaded chicken cutlet with swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, Russian dressing on a roll. It was bland and the deli guy did not toast the roll ( I know, I should have asked). Not toasting the roll turns the sandwich into a soggy mess once it is wrapped in aluminum foil and deli paper. Also, I saw flies flying around the deli counter. The check out clerk seemed totally disinterested. Bring your own bag. The only good thing was the price of the sandwich: $7.00. Filling, but basically tasteless. This will be my first...
